I just waited 1 hour in the branch of…

I just waited 1 hour in the branch of Kazbegi street near metro medical I left there as their waiting list was too long and I had no idea how long more I should have waited. I came to another branch on vazapshavala street near metro Delisi and after 9 minutes I did my job.

comfortable app to use

i have been using BOG for 7-8 years now, and i can honestly say that their mobile app is one of the easiest and most comfortable to use. they always notify beforehand if there is an update incoming and you won't be able to use the app, and its never longer than 15 minutes. their support chat is very respectful and easy to talk with.

liar bank or russophobe bank

In recent years, my life has been inextricably linked with cryptocurrency. Although I have a regular job, my main income is from cryptocurrency.
Therefore, when opening an account in this bank, I specifically asked the employees how the bank relates to the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency. The staff said it was not forbidden.
Since one of the areas of income is p2p cryptocurrency trading, I also clarified about the restrictions and limits on transfers to other bank customers. To which I also received the answer that there are no restrictions.
Having received such answers from employees, I worked in this direction with peace of mind. At some point, I thought "yes, this is the best bank I have ever worked with (not counting the bug6lv in the application)". He told friends and colleagues at the bank, advised him.
But! In this story, unfortunately, there is one big BUT, which crosses out all the positive experience.
One fine evening, a letter arrives in the mail that from tomorrow all your accounts will be blocked, and the contract with me will be terminated due to the internal policy of the bank.
For all the time they never contacted me and did not ask for additional information on the payments made, but they immediately decided to block me.
I have a history and details of all transfers that I made as part of p2p activities.
I offered to provide the bank with these details and get off with at least a warning (as is the case with the same Russian banks). The bank refused to accept anything, only gave a month to withdraw funds from the accounts.
So, in just one evening, admiration for the bank changed to complete disappointment.

I do not rule out that the fact is that I am a citizen of the Russian Federation, to whom there is now a "special" attitude.

I plan to expand this review to an article with all the details.

Russophobes.

Russophobes.
i’m Russian member. I tried to get a bank card, but they refused me most likely because of my Russian citizenship. I have a good income, I needed a card to spend money on the territory of Georgia, but apparently cards are now approved on a national basis. It’s very disappointing when political disagreements concern ordinary citizens. Shame on you, Bank of Georgia! [2]

Bank of Georgia violates international…

Bank of Georgia violates international banking regulations. They keep customers legitimate deposits for weeks and refuse any access to funds. Their customer service is useless and blatantly lies. I made a legitimate deposit in euros from my own account abroad to my Bank of Georgia account. The funds arrived promptly to Bank of Georgia but the bank failed to deposit money into my account. I provided Bank of Georgia with the proof of transfer from my foreign bank. They still refused to deposit my funds giving no explanation. First, they lied the funds did not arrive, then they said the funds arrived but they sent them back, then they said they did not send anything back but would review the case. I had to visit their branch in Tbilisi on Leonidze Street several times. Every time the bank employees gave me different answers. Eventually, they said I have to wait 21 days for their review. More than 5 weeks after my initial transfer, Bank of Georgia said they return the funds to my foreign account. However, nothing arrived to my account. I am out of money. Bank of Georgia does this to people during the pandemic when we desperately need access to our funds. Shame on you Bank of Georgia!

worst online banking I have ever used :-(
complicated, chaothic, transfers do not go out
getting sms code is also rather luck
although security setting is set without OTP sms code is mandatory
