I gave it one star because there is nothing below that sadly. I purchased a MFC-L3770CDW printer about 18 months ago. It has never ever printed a decent page, the colours are awful, the worse prin... See more

Brother.ca the worst Company
Brother is a Company with 0 Customer service. If you got a problem with your printer they send you a link and you have to deal that by your self. Don't buy any printer from them.
Brothers none existent support
When I decided I should invest in a new industrial sewing machine, as mine predated the Roman Empire and lacked all of the post-industrial revolution “mod cons” that newer models have. I believed that Brother was a quality trusted brand and worth paying the extra for. After some research I chose their new Nexio S-7250a model at nearly £1300 and for the 1st 11months I was (kind of) happy with it. Until it suddenly stopped working, mid seam with error code e211. Unable to find solution myself I had to return to shop. They charged £185 to fix what they describe as normal wear and tear - (trading standards are on the case because it was still in warranty) 5 hours after “the fix” same problem. I’ve tried messaging Brothers so called customer service multiple times over 2 ½ weeks through both their website and directly through email explaining the issue and that I’ve been left without any means to support myself. Despite this, they have not even acknowledged any of the emails I have sent pleading for assistance. I can only assume the contempt they appear to show towards their customers is due to either not giving a shiny s**t about them or the customer care dept has been inundated with complaints/enquiries from other customers dissatisfied with their products and services as I am. I’ve just noticed that trustpilots website asks if I would like them to notify Brother industries about this review 🤣🤣🤣🤣 - by all means you can try, but I wouldn’t expect a reply anytime soon
Do NOT buy Brother Printers
Do NOT buy Brother Printers! Brother installs apps on your computer that monitors your pc. You have to pay a fortune for their printer ink and they only last a few weeks. I have tried everything to print out a document and it won't due to an error message that cannot be resolved. Brother products have built-in obsolescence and exactly after two years of use Brother have disabled my printer. I will NEVER buy another Brother printer - waste of your money!

Super disappointed with Brother's customer service
This review is regarding my experience as a new business owner purchasing an MFC-L8900 color laser printer. I spent a while researching options - I'm a consultant that will be doing a lot of printing, both documents and color pictures, so this particular printer was in the right printer class and had good reviews. It's been such a disappointing experience. I purchased it 10/1/2021 from Staples, paid extra to have a 4 year plan added to it as I view this as a significant investment for my business. All told, paid $650. The printer has not worked properly since I brought it home. It literally took me all night to print a 400 page file. I told the printer to print, went to bed, and it was still printing when I came to the office the next morning. Started with staples customer service, they gave me some trouble shooting tips, didn't really fix the problem, I just decided I wouldn't try and print large files. I also researched on my own and purchased a powerline adapter, a device to improve my wifi connectivity in my home office. Later the printer ran out of color ink, so I switched jobs to try and run black and white letters. The printer will not allow me to print, despite instructions stating that the printer should be able to do so. Tried to purchase the right toner for it, can't find it around here and am having it shipped, but won't get it for five days. This leaves me in a situation where I'm stuck needing color ink for a job that doesn't require color. Staples customer service routed me to the manufacturer's customer service. When speaking with them, I'm getting nowhere after multiple attempts to get this resolved. The individual asked a lot of questions about what I've done so far, then told me the situation needs to be escalated. I asked how long were we thinking as I was working on something that was time-sensitive, was told later that day. The next day I received an email with "advanced troubleshooting techniques" that told me to do the things that the tech the day before had me do. Went on to say that if these didn't work, to contact customer service again. After wasting a full 24 hours at this point, I contacted Brother customer service again, the tech this time told me that they were going to escalate the issue and asked me to hold. Came back to say that they didn't have anyone working that could handle the escalation and that someone would call me within two hours. The following day, I still haven't received a call.
The work that I'm doing was time-sensitive and I actually went to Wal-mart last night and bought an HP printer so that I could finish my tasks. The fact that I was in a store buying another printer 4 weeks after buying this laser color printer because I can't get it to work is so disappointing to me. Staples tells me that I'm past the date for being able to return or exchange the printer, despite my having called every week with troubles for the printer since I bought it. Brother is not standing by their product and leaving me to just figure it out on my own.
I'm at the point where I'm thinking I'll sell this printer online at a loss and just go buy something else. The thing that stinks about that is that this is the point where my business is at its most vulnerable stage.
Farther down the road, $650 won't be a huge deal, but right now? My business requires a solid printing solution and this is clearly not it. Expensive lesson learned. I won't purchase another Brother product and I would advise anyone reading this to steer clear as well.
Best Laser Printer
Best Laser Printer.
We have 2 Brother printers; both are laser, and we don't have any issues.
Himal Tech
Excellent Service
I bought a new Brother laser printer recently and after a short time it started spilling black toner over the printouts ("toner scatter"). I bought a new black cartridge TN-247BK (3,000 page; a Brother one, but not from Brother) as suggested in the manual and swapped it with the original supplied with the printer (TN-BK, 1000 sheet). Still got the same problem so concluded it was not the toner cartridge. Contacted Brother technical support and after a bit of fault finding over the phone they sent a Brother service engineer 120 miles to my home. After a quick examination of the printer he concluded that both black toner cartridges were faulty. He fitted a new 1000 sheet cartridge and it worked O.K. He also ordered a new TN-247BK cartridge for me (free) to replace the faulty one I had bought. Excellent service.
The most rubbish products what I ever…
The most rubbish products what I ever seen in electrical devices. They making jokes with human.Secondly, every device have a microwave chips which collects data and send it back for Stock market.
Un-ethical business practices (DO NOT BY INK BROTHER PRINTERS OR CARTRIDGES)
So I got a printer (new, never used)
We print 20 pages over two months.
Then black runs out.
Weird I think.
I buy a new black cartridge.
New cartridge wont work because of color cartridges out of color.
I check all the cartridges, all full, even the one we replaced.
The chip simply says they are empty, and support says that they are out of shelf-life.
This is really frustrating since I already bought a new black cartridge, which is told via software that it cant print.
Hope they get sued.
DO NOT BUY BROTHER PRINTERS.
Don't even accept a gifted new printer.
13 months old printer sitting in Brother workshop and company is not reacting to any communication
I bought a Brother DCP-L3510CDW A4 Colour Laser Printer in August 2019 and in October 2020 it stopped recognising new toners - the helpline technician could not help and said I can send the printer back to Brother Manchester for fixing - it arrived there on November 4th 2020 together with a letter - have not heard from Brother since and they are not reacting to my letter sent more than a week ago. They are boasting about sustainability and customer service and from my point of view these claims are utterly false. Based on this experience I will not ever buy a Brother product again and I shall let everyone know who wants to be warned
I bought Brother HL-L2300D
I bought Brother HL-L2300D. I'm a little disappointed. The product requires a cable to install onto the printer but didn't come with one in the package so I have to order one separately which is counter productive to my original intention.
My new printer won't connect to Wifi…
My new printer won't connect to Wifi automatically.
Non-existent service
I tried to purchase a Brother printer for my business from two distributors (as Brother don't sell direct). Both companies, Currys and eBuyer said they had stock and they didn't. Both failed to resolve, and Currys didn't even bother to apologise. I contacted Brother to complain and they didn't even have the courtesy to reply. Having had many Brother products (for business and personal use) in the past, rest assured that won't happen again. We're switching to Epson for printers for the next purchases.
My husband bought me a Brother…
My husband bought me a Brother Quilter's Sewing Machine.
My machine has worked well, but when it didn't I was in trouble. I had a terrible time trying to get in touch with someone so I could fix the machine. I was told I had to go to a dealer to have it repaired, but all dealers are almost a hundred miles away from me. I went to the store where I had bought the machine and they said it is a disposable sewing machine.
Brother argued with me that their sewing machines are not disposable, and their qualified machine repair people can repair them.
I laughed at that since I had already established there is no one in our area.
By the time I was done, I decided to go buy a Singer Sewing Machine.
I bought a Brother printer
I bought a Brother printer, And it worked fine. It actually worked good. I used it to print some documents for Ackermann V. Mitchell et al in Baltimore Federal District Court. You can look it up on Google. I also used a Brother printer 9 years back when I started work at a retail company.
Faded line when printing from the top of the page to the bottom..
Had an issue with the printer printing a faded line along the length of page. After 2 contact attempts the issue was not resolved. I went to the online chat and called in after over an hour on the phone as per the directions of the warranty. Brother does not want to honor their warranty. Spoke to a 3rd person had be go through the same BS. The issue is the heating element is not working properly. They kept telling me it was the programs I was using. What a bunch of BS. DO NOT PURCHASE A BROTHER PRINTER THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES AND PUT YOU THROUGH HELL!!!
Never buy a brother printer
Had a Brother DCP-J140W printer. I only use the black color. Suddenly the other colors are gone/not working, so only option is to buy 3 other color cartridges, This is just to force the customer tu buy something they don't need!
And the paper often jams, by the way.
Never buy a Brother product.
