I would give less than 1 star if possible. I’m am outraged with my experience of ordering and returning items to this company.
Their swimwear is not practical or size inclusive… they go up to a size LARGE in bikinis. I’m 5’’7 and 160 pounds… I’m usually a size medium in most thing (8-10) and a size large too/bottom barely fits, especially the top. There is no support at all.
On top of the sizing issue, their customer service and refund policy is a SCAM. I bought 2 separate full bathing suits - top & bottom, in different sizes to see what fit best (4 pieces in total). I returned all 4pieces because none of them fit like I expected and weren’t worth the money. I learned a valuable and extremely hard lesson today… ALWAYS read the return policy before purchasing anything from a new online site. I clearly made the mistake of overlooking the terms & conditions (my bad). I just never anticipated such a nightmare to come of this. I’ve never in my life experienced such a poor return policy or experience. I’ve ordered from other international swimwear companies before like Kuhlani Kinis and never in my life have I experienced such a headache. Black Bough (although American) is another swimwear comoany I shop from and they are reasonable as well. Shame on me for being so naive to think this brand would have similar standards for their customer service…
After obliging to their unrealistic and outrageous return policy, I returned my merchandise to UPS within 14 days of it arriving. Of course I had to pay shipping on it, which I figured as much, seeing this is an Australian company… oh but that’s not all. They have the audacity to try to SCAM me by sending me an email that I stained one of the items and they are only willing to give me STORE CREDITS for 3 of the items. They sent a photo of the “stained” merchandise, and either I became blind overnight or they are on something bc what the actual…? I can assure you I did not stain it. There was not a stain when I received it, had it in my possession or returned it. The photo also shows NO STAIN WHATSOEVER. I’ve shared this email to others to gauge my experience and every single person has agreed this is absolutely bonkers.
I’m so frustrated, I don’t even want to use my store credits or ever attempt using that company again. At this point my store credits have racked up to a whopping $300… so looks like I’m be making a purchase and trying to resell online. Although this time, I won’t be the one scamming anyone :) and I’ll be honest with my customer(s) upfront about what their signing themselves up for.

Dont order ! Really bad Customer service. They do not refund the money in case you send the items back but only give you a voucher card. Additionaly you also have to pay "importtaxes" on the product since they come from australia.

Absolutely horrible company! Please don’t waste your money! I purchased a bikini top for my daughter. I put all her measurements into the size chart and was told an XS was her perfect size. She received the top and it didn’t even remotely cover her! She is an A cup by the way so an XS should have absolutely covered her. She tried the top on ONCE and we sent it back. Today we received an email saying Sommerswim will not accept the top because it has a stain on it and they are sending it back to me immediately. They took a picture of the top and sent it to me. There is no visible stain on the top as they claim and the picture just shows the sticker they stuck on it. I also inspected the top before I sent it back and there were no stains on it! It was literally tried on ONCE! I sent multiple emails stating what I have written here and not one single response back. This is a deceptive company and I would never order from them unless you like throwing your money away!

I have since read other reviews where customers also say that Sommerswim claims there are stains on the bathingsuits and they won’t allow an exchange. Unethical practices! DONT BUY!!!!

They did not state on their website that the only option for a return was a store credit and not a refund. The items were not made very well and fit very oddly. If in person I would not have even tried them on since the quality was bad but then they didn't fit at all once I tried them on. I do not want a store credit for my $218 purchase I want my money back so I can go find items I can actually wear. Then you can't call anyone, you can only email. This is not a trustworthy store. Then their return process is LENGTHY and they require photos of the items. I 100% do not recommend purchasing from this online store.
EDITED TO ADD A RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY SINCE I CAN'T REPLY TO IT DIRECTLY: They have since updated their website to state the store credit, it was not clearly written before and now they are pretending it was there all along instead of just offering a refund. BUYER BEWARE!!!! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES. WILL BE POSTING A BBB REVIEW ON THEM AS WELL.

I ordered some bikinis on march the 24th. I got the package on March the 28th. So then a few days later I wanted to return some of the items. On the page you can read that the return policy is 14 days when the package arrives you. So the last day to return would be the on april the 11th. So I checked the website to get my code to return the order. Didnt worked out because the website showed an error all the time. So I wrote a few Emails to the costumer service but never got an answer from them since today. So now I have to keep the unflattering and not good quality bikinis for a bunch of money. Don‘t buy from them!!!!!!!!

The bathing suits are beautiful, great quality and great fit! I’ve finally found bikinis that fit me perfectly and are very flattering. Worth every penny! The size guide makes it easy to find the right fit for you but if you have any questions, their customer service team is super helpful and personable. Sarah helped me and she’s wonderful! Very good quality of the products, exactly the colours on the website. I made a mistake by ordering from EU on the US-Webstore (you must pay attention!), but i still received the products very fast and i could also change one top-size directly on the EU-Store without problems. Happy to wear the coolest bikini this season!

If I could give less stars I would! Please do not buy from here. Quality is not worth the price, its ill fitting, size chart is inaccurate and customer service is the worst part! Please don't waste your time when there are so many other brands worth it and this one isn't! Save yourself the headache. Also if you have boobs the suit likely wont fit! Literally they will not acknowledge anything you have an issue with.

I have bought 2 bikinis. One two years ago which is breaking at the seams after minimal wears (under 15) (which is too late to return) and one this year. The top was the Ella bralette, it did not stay on AT ALL. I have C-D boobs and I felt like it would only stay on if you had much bigger boobs. Like I’d lift my arms up slightly and the top would just slide right up to my neck. I returned it (paying for shipping both ways) and then they tried to give me store credit saying they couldn’t refund it. It’s literally UNWEARABLE and not fit for purpose so I quoted the ACCC and eventually was given a refund as an ‘exception’. They tried to say the issue with the top “might be a personal preference on body shape and is one of our most popular styles” as if that negated the video I sent them where I literally couldn’t move without my entire boob coming out. This was after they originally ignored my feedback and just sent their generic return form.
Anyway, if that was the end it’d be great! When I returned it they said it was ‘stained’ and sent it back to me saying they couldn’t accept the return. I was looking at the top in front of me and there was literally NOTHING on it, they send me a photo as ‘proof’ and it was a light reflection. Once again I had to send them photos showing the same spot in different lights, really argue to get my refund and then re-post again.
Such a painful experience. The quality is not worth the price tag, the design is not for real bodies and proportions and the customer service validated my decision to boycott this brand going forward.
For the record my ‘body shape’ is a size 8-10, C-D boobs, quite average body.
Edit: Funny how their response is still invalidating the poor experience. Not to mention the breaking swimwear is past its return date so that was not resolved, hygiene issues weren't the cause since there was no stain on the top whatsoever, and I had to literally argue back and forth for ages to get my refund which was originally rejected.
Let that be an indication of what service will be like if you have issues!
