I’ve used song tools campaigns for 2 artists. One a sexy female artist, one an older male. I produced BOTH artists, with high quality, radio friendly productions. Sexy female got Playlisted INSTANTLY... See more

I am very pleased with the growth of my music through song tools. My music has had organic growth, even though a couple of the playlists seemed to not fully fit. The growth was worth the investment. I was skeptical because of the fake services out there but they have proven themselves to me.
Your effort + Songtools = Win
These tools are great if you’re looking to build your listener base. They help provide you tools that can increase your visibility across different playlists and platforms.
Solid music promotion service
Solid music promotion service. In the wild zoo of music promotion, Songtools has a service that does exactly what they advertise. I will use them again.

It used to be great but lately I’d bucket it as average. It’s gone up in price and shortened its window of time for campaigns to 7 days. Previously it was $48 for a month. The value equation is a bit out of whack now. The SongFly promotion tool is also costly vs the results you get. I still give it 3 stars though because playlist placements are pretty good, in general.
Gurus over Gangsters …
These tools are great if you’re not creative; you want to produce music based on a demand; you fit in the box of preset algorithmic genres. I personally was not able to describe the music I make in a way that gave me an advantage or access to potential listeners. I’m not angry about it. I Would like my money back but the reality is some things require more effort and expertise. if your not in the possession to tour and engage with a potential audience to establish a new style or challenge the norms. Do not expect this platform to take on your cause…..gurus over gangsters
Effective
Songtools is effective at getting your music pitched to many playlists. Sometimes playlists that are not from a genre you align with, will pick up your music but generally its a more inexpensive effective option.
Rising above the noise
No one can enjoy my music unless they know it exists. With a reported 150,000 new releases a day it’s almost impossible to get heard above the noise. Songtools helps me promote my music and I’ve got streams and reviews!

I wish my experience on the site was better. This review isn't related to the service, but the site, because I was never able to get anything to work. Signing in by email failed, even with multiple password reset attempts. I was able to sign in using phone number. I added a few items to the cart, the credit card puchase failed (still unresolved). And trying to verify my email associated with the phone number failed (still unresolved).

works really well when the music is good, seeking a more sustainable audience by using editorials or social growth may be a more suitable route but it does work and you will get what you paid for, however, you must continue to pay to have your music playlisted

Nice place for Music makers and mamangers to grow! it really works out best if you have consistant releaes.
Totally scam
Totally scam, and be careful with automatic payments, because they will stole your money, is the worst cost per result I saw running a campaign.

Great help in growing your fanbase
Pretty good promo
Pretty good promo. I really don’t have complaints, except the fact that it’s like a 3 day spike and then it’s low again. But the free tools are a bonus.

Been running music ad campaigns using SongFly for the past six months. The ad automation is a huge time saver and the conversion rates were quite solid for my genre, which in my case was House.
