Disappointing Sonic Spa Ultrasonic Cleaner…
I purchased the Sonic Spa Go cordless ultrasonic cleaner in August 2026 to clean my dentures. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed with the product.
One of the main reasons I bought it was because I wanted a portable cleaner that I could use in the bathroom and take away with me when travelling. However, I found that it would start up when moved, which made it impractical for the purpose I had bought it for.
More recently, I noticed that it was needing to be charged much more frequently. On one occasion, after being on charge for several hours, the indicator was still glowing red.
I contacted Sonic Spa about these problems and, after some correspondence, they agreed to refund me if I returned the cleaner. However, there was some uncertainty over who would pay the return postage, and I had to follow up to clarify this.
I have now returned the cleaner using tracked postage at a cost of £4.70 and am awaiting the outcome of their testing and the refund.
It is disappointing to have problems with a product that was not cheap, particularly when portability was one of the main reasons for buying it.
I will update this review once the refund process has been completed.
Having since looked at customer reviews of the same model on Amazon, I was concerned to see other customers reporting similar problems with battery life and reliability. This makes me feel that my experience may not be an isolated one.
