While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Small business with lots of products or large business with few?

The Sooqr search tool is a well thought out and functionally complete solution with a nice interface and seems to work well and reliably.

Price banding is however ill conceived with customers with lots of small products but low footfall paying considerably more than high footfall businesses with a lower number of products. This makes it unattractive to startups or businesses like mine which existed mainly on ebay with large product ranges but who are still developing their own websites and have fewer sales. This is compounded by banding where the price multiplies by several factors at painful milestones. 249 products? About $20 a month. 250 products? More like $60!

We left the service after the business passed this product milestone on price alone which is a pretty ridiculous situation for something which took some integration and was otherwise ok.
