First time I’ve eaten breakfast at Sopers House. Unfortunately the customer service was pretty non existent, such a shame as the restaurant is lovely.
The breakfast, looked great on the plate but out of the 6 poached eggs between 3 of us, not one was remotely runny, as you’d expect. I didn’t make a big fuss but my complaint wasn’t even acknowledged, just ignored with no apology. I felt the bar staff to be quite aloof and there needs to be clearer signage about Card only payments. I only carried cash, my friend had to pay for me using card.
