Kits for my partner and me were ordered and paid for on December 12, so they’d be at home waiting for our return from abroad on Dec 17. As at today, Dec 20, they still haven’t arrived and we are way past our 2 day window. The tracking system gives us no help, and we can’t get through on the ‘phone. I know it’s Christmas, but we’ve just received a package posted 2 days ago, so the post can’t be to blame. What is the problem with this company?
Update: we have received a response direct from the company and, due to non-arrival of the test kits (Dec 24) our payment was refunded. That is the proper response from a company that does business in an honourable manner. Thank you.

We used Source BioScience for our travel 2 day PCR tests. We chose them from the Gov.uk website because the price they quoted on the front page was the same as the one they charged unlike many other firms quoting tiny amounts then very expensive when you follow the link. Source BioScience are refreshingly honest!! Our tests arrived on time and we were blown away with the speed of our results, truly amazing!!! I had a couple of queries and they were dealt with so quickly by Sara, Monica and Emma. I will recommend this honest genuine company to everyone I know.

Slow to process result, terribly bureaucratic form to fill out to get the result out of them. Expensive. Not recommended

Alarm bells began to ring when I received an email while out of the country advising me my Day 2 PCR test kit may not be delivered prior to my return to the UK. To my surprise, it was behind the door when I got home 13/12/21. I used and returned the kit within hours of landing back in the UK. By the morning of 15/12/21 I had heard nothing from SourceBioSience, panic started to set in as I was due back at work 16/12/21. I tried ringing several times, to be greeted with a recoding to email. I emailed 3 times, I either got an automated reply or no reply at all. Still waiting for a reply!

I was forced in to taking unpaid leave, like many other customers of SourceBioSience, until I eventually received my test certificate. I shall be pursuing a full refund.

I strongly advise you use a different supplier, RANDOX are good, don’t use this outfit if you want a stress free experience. Customer services does not exist.

Used Source for both my fit to fly and my day 2 test.
I collected my day 2 test from their site and dropped it off for testing - if local enough I would recommend this.
My sample was processed extremely quickly on both occasions meaning I was at peace of mind when travelling and that I could end isolation promptly upon return.
Would 100% use again and would recommend to all family and friends.

I can’t imagine how challenging it must be to adapt to changes in demand due to changing travel requirements. Despite receiving the kit later than requested, results were back within a day. They were communicative regarding potential impact to timelines and I found each message and the directions for the test to be very clear and concise.

Thank you to all those working behind the scenes - it’s meant my family can be with us for the holidays after a very challenging year.

Whilst our LFT's went smoothly, one of the group's surnames was incorrect on the PCR form and therefore cannot complete the Passenger Locator Form to get back to the UK. Having tried to call them and emailed 3 times, still no assistance. They say they are open 24hr, absolutely not. If it's outside 9 to 5 Monday to Friday you have no hope of contacting them. Let's hope we can sort it at the EuroTunnel, we are on our way now. Would not recommend!

At the last hour, and I mean 30 mins before we got to Calais, they emailed that they had changed the name on their system and we were able to complete the form. Lots of stress, which could have been avoided if they had responded to my first email. Now to see how long it takes to get the PCR's back. Fingers crossed not long! I will update and increase the stars if appropriate!

I ordered a Day 2 test kit. Everything went smoothly except obtaining the result. More details below.

The website an emails were clear and informative. I understood how to take the test at home, how to post the sample, how to view the result once available, etc.

Test result arrived later than expected. I was under the impression that they would be available within 48 hours. I posted the sample on 13/12/2021 and received the result on 18/12/2021.

No problem at all with this company, sensible price for the test arrived on time but the royal mail took 5 days to deliver my test back to the test company, they then duly carried out the test and informed me of the test results within 5hrs

Test in post 17.30 16/12. Recieved 10.28 am 17/12 results 16.44.That’s what I call service thank you so very much

This is the third time I've used Source BioScience and I've had a great service each time. First time was during the summer when I had to order a day 2 and 8 test package. The tests came a few days early and both tests were processed quickly despite delivery delays from Royal Mail.

I also used their lateral flow service when I visited England back in November. Again, the test arrived days earlier at my destination and I received a quick response when uploading my result.

Now I have used them a third time for my Day 2 PCR test. I ordered on Sunday 12th December, and although the test was despatched Tuesday, it still arrived in time on Wednesday when I was due to fly in. Posted it back first thing Thursday morning, received acknowledgement of receipt this morning at 9am and now by 5pm, my test has been processed.

Super happy with the reliability of postage, receipt and test processing times and will continue to order from this company for as long as there are testing requirements.

Only downside is that there is no number to contact, but when I have emailed one time, I was responded to within 2 hours. Would absolutely recommend.

Tests arrived in good time for our arrival home. They were half the price of any other company we could find at £35 for 24hr PCR. Dropped the test off at priority post box for 10am, got to lab at 8pm and had results 24hrs later. Would use again.

Ordered our kits for our family on Friday 10th December and they were delivered on Tuesday 14th December. We posted them back on Wednesday 15th December and had our results on the morning of the 17th December. Very good, efficient service and an up to date tracker to see the stage of where your order/ sample is at. An easy download certificate also to confirm a negative result.

Great communication to keep us informed of possible delay to delivery of tests due to surge in demand, tests arrived the day we arrived back in the UK, receipt at lab acknowledged 10am day after posting, my results in 10hrs, my husband's in 14hrs. Excellent service. Only criticism, and something to be aware of, is that tests are sent using royal mail 24 - ours were sent back to the post office as we hadn't arrived home when they were delivered.

Please read the bad reviews and believe them as I thought it can’t be that’s bad.
We missed our flight to see my family for Christmas and not only lost money for the flights, luggage etc I actually paid for a product which I received 72h later posted 5 minutes later and again it’s been 76h and still no results.
Absolutely joke of a company! Wish I could give you less than a star as you ruin my Christmas.
Why do you state all those 24h lies?
It’s definitely a scam. I am expecting a full refund as I have emailed them and while their automatic email says that someone will get back to me within maximum of 4h, 96 hours later and still nothing.
Let me know how do I get in contact with you as calling, emailing doesn’t seem like it’s working with all your lies and automatic recorded messages!

I received my test result after 24 h, but still next day, so I can change my previous opinion.

I sent my PCR test sample 7 days ago, and despite receiving confirmation the next day that it had been received.. STILL no result. When I emailed I received a generic response saying my sample will be processed soon.. this was 3 days ago and STILL NOTHING.

Do not trust this company, they are clearly a scam.

Great experience with this company. Any questions I had they responded in a very reasonable time frame. The instructions for the Covid test was very clear. Hopefully I can use them again for my fit-to-fly but there is a delay at the moment with the new rules. All in all A+ company. Thank you

Worked for me.
I ordered my test kit on a Tuesday and it arrived on Saturday (the day before I arrived in the UK) sent the kit back Monday morning and received notice of arrival Tuesday evening,then had the test results by Wednesday afternoon,so overall happy with the service for the price paid.

I sent my sample 6am Saturday in a priority post box, it wasn’t tested until Wednesday at 4pm.
I did ask how long the sample lasts without testing it.
They seem to be ignoring my emails now.
I wouldn’t use them again.
