Highly recommended, all round great customer service
The customer service provided was excellent. Everything made easy throughout the whole process. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and polite who patiently explained everything carefully. The installation team were also extremely good and efficient, leaving the site clean and tidy. The electrician explained where the wiring needed to be routed and why, hiding as much as possible. The installation is working perfectly, overall a job well done.

Professional service with quality staff
SESE worked with us to help us understand the benefits for us installing solar panels. They worked through different scenarios in order that we could see which best met our needs.
They explained the installation process. What they said would happen - happened - we were told the fitters would arrive at 8am and at exactly 8am. The fitters were courteous and professional talking us through the plan for the day. They worked tidily and they made sure they showed us the completed work and ensured we knew how to use the app to monitor the performance. I would certainly recommend using them.

I was slightly apprehensive to begin…
I was slightly apprehensive to begin with because I'd signed up for the Solar Together scheme and you just don't know who is going to win the bid (it's a bit like a blind date). I was very relieved to see such good reviews on Trust Pilot (certainly better than the other installation options I was considering (one of which was Octopus). Additionally, the components specified by SESE were better and the over-all cost was cheaper. So it was a Win Win Win. Not only that but the job went from proposal to completion quicker than I ever imagined could be possible. Because the price SESE quoted was lower than I had been expecting, I was able to upgrade the proposed system with a bigger battery, a bigger inverter, optimisers on all the panels and increased the number panels while still staying within my budget. SESE handled these changes without any hassle, every SESE employee I have come into contact with has been perfect without any exceptions. However, I have to single out Cam my SESE solar electrician for special praise. He handled all my slightly nervous questioning with calm confidence and did a fantastically tidy and accurate job installing my battery array. Thank you Cam and I hope my tea-making was on-point.

Hands down this has been my best experience with a company for a long long time! Great communication, great value for money, and just focused on doing a great job for me. Which they absolutely did, I'm so happy with my new solar and battery setup!
Massive shoutout to Stephanie for the perfect customer service: always getting back to me straight away with answers, adaptive and understanding when I was indecisive, never reading from scripts or passing me to other people. Such a refreshing experience, I felt well looked after through the whole process. Other companies should take note.

Mostly good, scaffolding company was awful though
I had a great experience with SESE. They answered my question from the start to the end and I felt confident I made the right choice for my house.
The surveyor, the electrician and the roofers were all really professional and on the day of installation I was left with the feeling of good work.
I didn't give 5 stars because SESE chose to work with a scaffolding company that was awful and didn't communicate. I had to chase them to get the date they would install the scaffolding. When they did, they left without even saying goodbye. When they installed it, they blocked the garage door, which I asked them not to. It made the electrician's life more difficult. After the installation, it took the scaffold company more than a week to take it down and it was blocking my entire driveway which, with the parking issues we encounter in my area, was far from ideal.

Friendly and efficient service
The staff are extremely helpful - they took the trouble to answer all my questions in detail, both pre- and post-installation. The installation itself was completed in one morning! The scaffolding company was also extremely efficient, installing the scaffolding very quickly and removing it the day after the installation.
I have had a few technical glitches since the solar panels were installed, but these are problems with the FoxCloud app not with SES, who have helped me to resolve them.

Exceptional 5* Service
We used SESE to install 16 solar panels, a battery storage system and an EV charger. SESE made the entire process very simple to follow. Everything was done on time, with no mess and all of their staff were polite and courteous throughout the entire process. Our special thanks goes out to Jade and Cameron. The entire system is working as planned. We would highly recommend them when considering solar and EV installation.

Great experience with SESE
Great experience with SESE. Good communication throughout and polite and helpful installers. All went well and they tidied up afterwards. All paperwork received without any issues.
Slight niggle with the use of the separate scaffolding company as the scaffold was up for 2 weeks after installation completed meaning I couldn't use my drive and the scaffold affected my satellite dish for this period, but this is organised by SESE through a separate company. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to use SESE again.

I found working with this company a please, very flexible, all done to spec as agreed but also a flexible company where i was able to tune the spec over time before the work. On the day all work was done on time and without damage. Would happily use again.

Fantastic Service
Really enjoyed working with South East Solar and I am over the moon with my installation which was installed VERY efficiently by a friendly and polite team. The same can be said of the office based team and the scaffolding team and I think it's a great asset to have the scaffolding and solar all under one roof.

Top service and a free gutter clean!…
The team installed solar panels on the 26th Feb 2026. Excellent service all round from the electrician who did the cable, battery and inverter installation. Very informative and offered advice. The panel installation team even cleaned out my guttering whilst on the scaffolding as I asked if I could use their ladder to go up onto the scafgold to do so. They did it for me instead.
