I had a 1 hour zoom meeting with Adam to discuss my 11 year old Jack Russell X Chihuahua mix's reactivity and separation anxiety. I had adopted him from an animal shelter in the US 5 years ago and felt like nothing worked for us. Adam was empathetic and smart, giving us easy, actionable changes to make. No complicated training sessions and lots of understanding when I needed clarification on Adam's advice. I could have talked to Adam for hours! Even within the first 24 hours we've all adjusted to a new way of doing things at home and out in the world. It will take time for our dog to fully conquer his anxiety, but we finally feel confident that we're on the right path.

My session with Aaron today brilliant. Really friendly and made us feel very comfortable and felt we could ask anything at all. I definitely learnt a few things, very informative yes highly recommend SDT xx

Gratefully we have one dog who is lovely to walk on the lead, recall is on point and reactivity has almost gone, will keep up with the training and come back to you if we need more help, the art of attention and reactivity seminar were game changer for us. THANK YOU 😀

Aaron was so friendly, professional and very knowledgeable!
He gave us so much insight into why my dogs Khaleesi and Rocco were reactive.
He gave us the knowledge and ability to continue their training with a better advantage. The change in their reactivity and walking was transformed in a few hours. My dogs really liked him as well which was lovely to see. We left so happy and so thankful for all the help. We are now so excited to take our dogs out in public settings. We know there is a lot of work to do, but Aaron has explained everything so well that we feel confident that they will be happier on walks and we will be more relaxed. Amazing!! And we could purchase necessary items on the day which was fantastic!!

Aaron really listened to our issues and provided clear and practical steps for us to take forwards with our dog. We left the session with a lot more confidence in how to handle tricky situations. It was money and time very well spent.

Lola took to Aaron immediately, he was calm and assertive with her, I could feel she was very relaxed with him. Seeing as Lola has a very aggressive nature towards most men I was very surprised.
He showed me where I was going wrong when I have Lola on the lead, he was very informative about dogs especially Lola's breed. (Rottweiler) I would definitely recommend Southend dog training to anyone who needs advice or assistance with their dog.

Aaron was brilliant! He gave us the skills we need to move our Rottweiler to the next level. He also gave us reassurance that Bear is still trainable at 2 years and 5 months and not a lost cause.
We have confidence and a different framework to work with that suits him as a rescue that's been with us for 18 months not a rescue that has just arrived with us. We will be booking in to see him after we've implemented his advice.

We are so grateful for Sophie and the incredible work she’s done with our dog, Gus. When we first reached out, we were struggling with his walking, reactivity to other dogs, and his recall. Sophie approached every session with patience, kindness, and a deep understanding of canine behavior.

Her guidance made such a difference, Gus is now so much more relaxed on walks, his reactivity has noticeably decreased, and his recall has improved tremendously. She not only worked with Gus, but also taught us how to better understand and support him, which has made our bond even stronger.

Aaron did a fantastic job helping me understand exactly what was happening with my boy and how to help him going forward. I was so unbelievably happy to find out my boy isn't aggressive he just needs more guidance from me to navigate situations he might not be ready for!

Felt like he understood exactly where we needed direction and gave great advice on what we needed to do to change.

Absolutely great session with Aaron. He talked us through absolutely everything we needed to know for this stage in our puppy’s development, showed us techniques and took the time to answer all of our hundreds of questions. He was patient and so good with our puppy. I definitely recommend him.

I felt listened to and that all of the issues I had with Chester were addressed and explained in a way that I as a first time dog owner could understand. I came away from this session feeling much better about training Chester. Aaron took his time and pointed out behaviours and how to overcome these. Honestly I am so grateful for today’s experience
