We had an amazing experience with Adam this morning. We had tried two trainers with our daschund Richmond in the past without any success, but Adam was immediately able to determine what Richmond needed, and he transformed him from a barkey nervous anxious dog to one who was chilled and responded to our instructions, and did not react to the other dogs there. Adam is a very knowledgeable and approachable guy and he really knows what he's talking about. It was well worth the long journey to see him and his excellent supporter Ben. 100% recommended!!

Went to SDT as we were at the end of our tether with our dog’s pulling. Sophie took Ronnie in hand from the beginning and within no time with new techniques and tools, we had a different dog to walk. Sophie was very engaging with Ronnie and understood his needs as well as ours and made the whole experience a total success. In a nutshell “good innit”!!

Took my two dogs to Sophie today, she was fantastic and gave such good advice, I will 100% follow her advice, she was spot on with what she said and sometimes small changes make big improvements. So Thanks to the lovely Sophie for a fab training session

We spent two hours with Sophie and really enjoyed it but more importantly learnt a lot. She takes such a sensible approach and our dog Ruby has also learned some new behaviours. We’re booking for a follow up session because we all have more to learn.

Adam knows his stuff and made me and Charlie feel at ease as soon as we met. After a 2 hour training session Charlie wasn’t pulling on the lead at all. A miracle! He gave lots of good advice which I will implement and am looking forward to a follow up session in a couple of months time. Would highly recommend SDT 🐾

Sophie was AMAZING! sooooo lovely and kind and super helpful! She put me at ease massively with how my puppy is doing, and taught me how to navigate the world with my little Bhodi - HIGHLY recommend working with her!

£11.99 per month. If you cancel you lose access immediately even if you have just paid for the month… if you’re willing to charge £12 per person per month + then have a decent app. They cost what? Few hundred quid … put the effort in just like you have your branding and you’ll probably get abit more out of it. Can’t say I’m that impressed tbh. Pretty generic, all trainers say the same things, but fail to address dogs with trauma. Shame

We had a 1:1 session with Sophie at SDT to try to improve our dog's loose-lead walking. He is a 2.5-year-old Sprocker Spaniel who pulls like a train when on the lead. Off lead he is good, his recall is good, and he is really good at home, but he seems to become possessed as soon as you attach a lead to him. In a very short space of time, Sophie was able to identify exactly what the issues were and how we could address them. We had him walking in the enclosure better than he has ever walked on-lead before. The changes were fairly small but made a huge difference. This was a real testament to Sophie's expertise and experience. I can't wait to get to the park tomorrow to practise what I have learnt.

I would 100% recommend Southend Dog training. I had a session with Sophie, was a great experience, so welcoming!! Sophie was amazing! Very understanding, explain everything clearly, Just kept going until i had it 100%. So when i got home i can carry on with training with confidence.

Had a training session with Sophie today for our reactive/anxious American cocker spaniel pup. Sophie was amazing she listened to us and gained Reggie's trust straight away and saw the difference in his behaviour almost straight away and have already seen his progress since bringing him home. Sophie guided us and prompted us when needed and helped us understand how best to help our pup.

We visited Sophie for a one to one with our 8 month old cocker spaniel. She was amazing! She made us feel at ease and we never felt judged for anything we had been doing wrong. She was super helpful and we left feeling confident that it isn’t too late!!

I was delighted that this event was prerecorded as it meant I could watch at a more suitable time for me and get my husband involved, we were completely absorbed. The whole world of reactivity now makes more sense to us and the way forward for our Romanian rescue looks more possible thanks to this informative, amusing and very well thought out session. This was an amazing seminar absolutely packed with practical advice. I would have given 5 stars. But I have reduced my rating to 3 stars because I was very disappointed to find that SDT are now offering a digital download which you can keep indefinitely for the same price as my seminar which I can only access for 2 weeks.
SDT say that I have not been given unlimited access as they were not aware they were going to do it until after the seminar!
Surely good customer service would be to give the seminar attendees the download too?

Such an interesting seminar. Full of helpful tips that I’ve started putting into practice already. So varied and informative. Full of layman’s language and fun too. Thank you Adam

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Engaging and very informative. Highly recommend this seminar and hope they produce more as was well worth the money.

Adam covered a lot of subjects during the seminar which were really useful especially the part about journalling when your dog is reactive.

Very helpful advice coupled with all your training videos there’s no excuse for people having untrained dogs

I was reminded of things I had forgotten and learnt new things too. I feel more confident to help my boy overcome his reactivity.

Aaron came to my home for a 1:1 session and was very down to earth and realistic with what we can implement to get our dogs to thrive. Aaron took time with my blind old lady beagle who he wasn’t there for which shows his true passion and love for his vocation. We will be staying in touch and are looking forward to happier dogs and enjoying dog ownership again. Cannot thank SDT enough for their time, we have felt heard and never rushed even when I have gone off topic (I’m a notorious chatter 😂).
