Steer clear!
I purchased a car from Southern Auto Centre Ltd and when I arrived to collect it I had to wait for over an hour for it to be ready, despite arranging a collection time. They gave us one working key and one dummy key that was obviously useless. The car was covered in crumbs and had fast food rubbish in the foot wells. The promised MOT had not been completed prior to collection either. The following day smoke started pouring out of the exhaust so it went back to be repaired and to have the MOT done. When I arrived to collect the car, the MOT still had not been completed so I had to wait for 3 hours while they did that and changed a tire. They claimed that £600 worth of work had been done but no invoice or record of any work was provided to me. A few days later the same fault occured leading me to believe that they had not had any work done on it at all. When I contacted Southern Auto Centre the owner was incredibly abusive and rude towards me but luckily the finance company acted as a mediator and I was able to return the car after they arranged an independent inspection. I will never use this company again and will recommend you steer well clear as they obviously take no responsibility for selling unsafe vehicles.
