Not sure what’s happened to Steve!! Used him more than once to recover a table. He did the job and then we paid. No problem. I then needed new legs and he wanted payment for them in advance. As he had done work for not just me but multiple tables at my school, I trusted him and paid. He has now disappeared off the face of the earth. Will not reply to emails or call back. Looking at reviews, this seems to be a theme. He has now lost the entire schools business.

Steve initially replied to my queries and after a couple of false starts where there were 'reasons' he couldn't turn up as arranged he did a good job with recovering my table.
My mistake was believing he really had left the snooker table pockets on his kitchen table and paid him cash to send them on to me for me to fit.
Since then radio silence - not returning any calls, Whatsapps or emails...
Luckily they do not cost too much - but as they say Buyer Beware.
By all means do use him to recover your tables but do not pay in advance or expect anything in after sales or believe if he has left something at home you've already paid for that he will return it!

Steve has recovered our Supreme Pool table several times over the past few years. The quality of his work is superb, and the result is always very much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending Southern Pool Table Services to any residential or commercial customer.

Absolute ripoff. We arranged for this guy to put a new cloth on my table. i wanted a cloth that had to be ordered in so i agreed to pay for the cloth in advance. i paid the total of £740 in advance and was then ignored until i eventually got a reply saying sorry, been on holiday and saying he would be in touch after checking if the cloth was on way. Then nothing, not a single reply to my 48 messages. This was in June. still nothing. DO NOT USE AND DEFINATLY DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE. MY DEFINITION OF A CON MAN.

Steve at Southern Pool Table Services was absolutely professional and did a fantastic job on fitting my pool table new cloth.

Steve responded very quickly to an email query, provided a good quote to re-cover the table and was able to come out just a few days later. When he arrived he advised the table cushions needed replacing as well. He had cushions with him and was happy to include the extra work (quote revised accordingly). He was friendly and efficient, and just a few hours later we have a beautifully re-covered table with properly working cushions, which our staff are delighted by.

Hired Steve to re-cover a DPT Outback Pool Table after a previous company had done a terrible job. Steve did a excellent job and is a true craftsman, so would highly recommend his company if you want a quality job at a acceptable price, five stars from me.

Steve at Southern Pool Services transformed my beaten up snooker/pool table, sorting out problems with the slate and cushion holders. It's now like new, which is more than I can say for my game! Professional service at the quoted price.

Nice job. Steve replaced baize and cushions on table, and now all runs and bounces much better, and can play properly. Efficient and clean, recommend.

Steve recently carried out some fantastic work to our 6ft pool/snooker table.
Steve is a very hard working individual, our table took Steve much longer to repair than he anticipated, even though Steve was running late he levelled our table in and spent a further 15 minutes showing my children some trick shots.
