These people are a disgrace!

This is not the first time I have contacted this organisation concerning a suffering animal that I am doing my best to care for; every time I have been treated like a bad person that is causing more suffering. I have a sparrow that has been caught in a stairwell and bashed itself about. I know that if I take it to a vet they will euthanise it so I have put it in a safe place in a at carrier by a widow so if it recovers it can fly away.
The response from South Essex Wildlife was "Don't you think it has suffered enough, you should have taken it to a vet straight away". I phoned the vet to make sure that I was right and they told me that is what they would do; put it down!
These people are a disgrace!
