Hired a Sovereign approved contractor to project manage our renovation. He was absolutely appalling and basically stole at least £50k of our money, so we removed him from the job. He left the basement tanking half complete (but still managed to invoice us for the full amount) so we contacted Sovereign in the hope that they could help us finish it off, only to find out that the local area manager was actually a friend of the contractor we had removed and would not be assisting us further. Unbelievable he even put this in a text message to us! We cannot get hold of anyone in Customer Care and the local area manager is blanking our calls so we have no idea how to finish this job off! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Awful service. Products were used and they have not issued a guarantee due to a 'transition' to Bostik. No information provided. Avoid at all costs until the situation is resolved.

Good products but delivery charge is quite pricey.

We used Sovereign SX70 on new hardwood sash windows when we built the house seven years ago. The SX70 finish is only now starting to show signs of needing attention in a few areas such as the sharp edges of beading. We are in a rural exposed environment so the SX70 has lasted very well indeed. After a clean and very light sanding I will apply another coat this year. SX70 is far more durable than paint and much easier to maintain.

I am disgusted by sovereign chemicals uk customer services response to my ongoing situation !
BE AWARE *** if a builder registered for using sovereign products fails to complete the correct course on your property..sovereign will not only refuse to intervene, or advise you of who they trust locally to complete outstanding works to get the guarantee you require to take to your lender re your mortgage!...they will basically wash their hands of you!!!
We paid our builder over £100,000 to rid our property of damp only to find out they forgot to tank the basement floor!....they have refused to do this!...sovereign will not supply us with the name of another local builder they trust to finish this to allow us to get the guarantee.
I have supplied them with contract/ txts showing builder admits his mistake, however sovereign will not assist us in any way!

This really is the best product on the market and does exactly what the description says. Unfortunately I am unable to find a stockist locally and postage fees seem OTT.

Have used products for years and are great but their reps are a bit hit and miss and delivery charges £20 under £300. If you just want a smallish quantity just not worthwhile unfortunately. Not much lateral thinking going on when you ring up. It's that or nothing. Frustrating really.

Been using it for 15 years, the BEST product on the market. Expensive but will last 5 years no problem . HOWEVER, I can no longer find it in Northern Ireland and the sellers on E bay say they do not deliver to NO despite NI still being part of the UK. Very frustrating indeed and i REFUSE to use anything else. Where on earth can i buy 10ltrs of this in red ceder??? HELP!

PROMPT DELIVERY AND THE COLOUR DIE DOES A GOOD JOB

contents of order was incorrect (although invoice that came with it was correct. Phoned and had no problems over the phone with the change, however I did expect an email to say that they had organised and uplift and with which courier etc. A guy in a van just turned up one day out the blue to deliver and uplift without any warning, luckily I was just up the street. Some information or warning would be appreciated if it happens again

I ordered some wood stain online on two occasions and the delivery was next working day which was excellent. The product too is very good for what I want and was easy to apply. Very satisfied with the quality and the service.

Great service and most importantly quality materials. I have been using sovereign chemicals for damp proofing, timber treatment and tanking materials for over 15 years never let down.

Great company, with great products and value.

Simple to order stuff a bit pricey but good ,delivery went well
