This company is extremely difficult to work with. Their site is convoluted and unclear and they have overcharged me for the past year up to 4 times the monthly subscription amount.
I have attempted to call them however their number does not work.
DO NOT USE THEM.

I sent an Antique Fan to SpainBox the cost for them to organise a courier and send to Australia was about 3 times the market rate. UPS then "lost" the item, Spain Box was slow at responding when I first advised them fan had not arrived they just said Strike at UPS instead of looking for the fan. In the end I had to open dispute in AMEX to recover the courier costs. Spain Box claims not to have insured the fan.

Worst customer service.
Thieves !
Liars. They have not a clue what they are doing. First and last.

Misleading cost calculator, hidden fees are added and you only find out well after your package gets to them. So expect to pay a lot more if you want your package, or you'll have to pay to get them to return it.

Plus, the website is buggy and doesn't properly work in a lot of browsers.

Tried to get one box shipped. Details page says 40 euros to ship the package. But when you add "credits" you end up deducted VAT which is 21%. So eventually you shipping is NOT 40 euros it's 50 - 60 euros. So SCAMMY!
Ok I paid that and took TNT shipping esimated to 3-5 days arrived. Then I get a message that my item was shipped with UPS standard = 14 days minimum.
With an explanation "TNT didn't approve the package?? REALLY? Maybe because UPS standard costs you a fraction of 60 euros??

This is a fraudulent service with which I had a horrible experience and I would like to warn others to not use it. As the company advertised that they ship at generally lower prices than some stores in Spain, I decided to try the trial period. My pacakage arrived and I was notified that the shipping with UPS would cost three times more than what I had calculated on the UPS website. The company claims you can check the prices before on their online calculator - however this calculator also displays a different price than the one you eventually get (even though this price is also about 50% higher than the UPS service which they use). When I brought this up, no one responded in a constrcutive way, and kept maintaining that what they were asking for was the realistic price and they offered no changes. I urge you to not use this company because in the end your pacakge is held hostage and the ranson fee is ridiculously high.

I signed up to receive mail from my bank, as I was moving. None of my mail was received, when I asked about it, their response was " we do not accept mail from any bank, the post office has been instructed not forward mail from banks here, so it will not even make it here. Please check the terms and conditions"

ok so this is BS on so many levels. To bury deep in the terms and conditions that you cant receive mail from your bank well that in itself is a scam.

Second, as if there is some service where the post office knows the address to every bank in the world and can automaticly tell if a letter is from a bank and block it is just more scam BS.

i have bought a smartphone in france and tried to ship to my spainbox address. after some days nothing happened, they told me they didn`t received the parcel!! but i can track and see that it has arrived at spainbox!!! i guess i won`t see my ordered smartphone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got ripped off here, the company deleted my account on which I had a lot of money. Now it seems that I will never see this money again. Be aware of this company.

Very Bad experience. Earlier I booked a yearly membership and cancelled my contract after 1 year. However, they charged me again for the second year another 105€!!!! Also I had 65€ credit on my account and wanted to cash it out - but this company couldnt even find my payment because only amateurs work there. They cant even create a credit note on paypal or credit card to cash out my money!!!!!!!!

I WOULD NOBODY RECCOMEND TO USE THIS COMPANY - only if you want to lose some money to them and never see it back again!!!!!!

Unreliable communication, expensive fees. Can find a better service elsewhere outside Spain that does handle Spanish parcels etc.

We opened an account with Spainbox with high hopes, but were sadly very quickly disappointed. Test transactions proved that sending a packet from Peninsular Spain to the Canary Islands was "more difficult than sending to Mars". This was not correct, since we immediately tried another company by sending an identical test package, which was delivered successfully to the Canary islands within two days.

In addition, the software is creaky, response to questions is slow or non existent, although refund quickly given. This business requires a more professional approach and attention to detail Would we trust our mail with them? No.

I chose this service after checking their shipping calculator.
After my package arrived to them the rate for shippin (2.8 kg small package) was 120 Euros (!!) while their calculator shows about half of the price,
they said there might be differences from time to time, but it is clear that no courier double its price.
This is a very serious deception.
I had to pay them for shipping it back, and I used a service that costs 1/3 price.
