I am writing to express my deepest thanks and warm appreciation to our Teacher for being such an engaging, kind, respectful teacher who encourages a ‘have a go’ attitude that allows for mistakes from which we all learn.
Lesson structure: the variety of games, matching exercises, verb conjugations; the total variety of activities has created a classroom where we all are fully immersed for the two hours in our Spanish world. Each week we begin with revision that helps embed our learning further with all of us encouraged to contribute. The lessons are always packed with carefully developed activities that move us from simple activities to harder that increases our understanding through repetition of written and spoken practices. Our teacher knows how to teach with brilliance and flair.
Class Atmosphere: Our teacher has created a world for us where all of us are good friends and enjoy each other’s company; all of us have expressed at times how we are looking forward to Tuesday and our two-hour lesson. We have fun; we learn; we laugh; we study; we work really hard, I feel; we go away knowing a lot of Spanish each week. Thus, last term studying Booklet A1.1 towards the end of the term, we began a What’s App group that all students joined where we share our life stories at times and also share our learning of Spanish.
Our Teacher’s personality: Being a fun, cheerful, happy person who genuinely engages us in learning, she brings out in all of us happy warm personalities that allow for deep learning. She knows when we may not know the answer and doesn’t ask allowing us to contribute when we do. She is an amazing teacher who allows us to share, engage and learn.
I feel there are not enough super words in the English language to describe her multitude of teaching skills.
I wanted to say thanks as we are so lucky to have such an awesome teacher who knows our strengths and weaknesses and ensures we all engage and learn to the best of our abilities.
