Easy and effective

The platform is easy to use and there were a large number of people, all ages and backgrounds, looking for rooms. I had many inquiries and found a roommate within 4 weeks.

Solution in emergency

I was desperate for a room as we were on holiday and my husband ended up in hospital. I found your app and found a room near the hospital and with a spécial room mate. I was lucky and had no ime to spare in research. Thank you for the service you offer.

SpareRoom has been an excellent source…

SpareRoom has been an excellent source of finding potential tenants over the years. The website is very easy to use and the daily updates are extremely useful as I have very little time to search through potential matches. My one gripe is that I think it should be made compulsory for people seeking accommodation to have a fully completed profile as I often get enquiries from people who haven't bothered to complete their details and requirements. I don't have the time to keep going backwards and forwards asking questions, so I do not reply to these people. I always state, quite clearly in my ads, that I won't reply to anybody who doesn't have a fully completed profile, but this is inevitably ignored. I've made the effort to put as much information in my ad as possible, so I feel that they should also do this!

Have now gotten two tenants with Spareroom.

I think we get fewer but much better applicants than with Craigslist or Facebook. Don’t have to wade through as many people who aren’t qualified and/or clearly didn’t read our ad.

I joined Spare Room a few years ago, and have been an active member for the same amount of time. I love the information they offer and the information they provide. They are the number one place to visit, to be able to get rented accommodation, at a reasonable price.

This site did nothing

This site did nothing. I just want to say even with boost purchase. The success guarantee thing is only if you want to see nothing happen for 60 days instead of 30.

Spare room is trash use roomies

I was told that I call them with foul language when I was in Europe. Someone is hacking or screwing with my account and spare room doesn't have the capacity to realize that it's not me so I told them I will start a campaign of hell making sure that I let everybody know that roomies is the site to go to and not spare room. Regardless of what they did to me the truth is roomies if you never heard of it is 10 times better with 10 times more listenings. Hey spare room you didn't look into my problem well enough why would you look into anybody else's. This is number one of way too many that are coming congratulations I just figured it out spare room is nothing but a bunch of maggots you know magaloosers that's what it is got it now I understand
