TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH

Would give no stars if I could. I would not rate this company. All the reviews I have read are genuine as is my own experience with this company. I order a Humax remote control. They advertise as a genuine Humax Control? It was not compatible with my Humax box. When I rang up to speak to the person at the other end, he was disinterested and told me to go through Amazon. I informed him that I would not be paying for the return of the remote as it was false advertising and I wanted him to send me a returns label. He shouted, "do you want me to send you a fiver" and hung up on me. Do not buy anything from this company, untrustworthy, rude and unprofessional. Deserves to be shut down and I do not say things like this liberally. Would not recommend.

Ordered a boiler for £3000 and website…

Ordered a boiler for £3000 and website said there was 11 in stock,turns out they had none and was told coming direct from factory,I phoned factory to hurry up process and they knew nothing of an order,I then asked for a refund and had nothing but bother and excuses to get my money back BEWARE AT ALL COSTS

Avoid this company

Ordered a boiler 9th September paid over £1700 still haven’t received now 18th September ignoring emails and no shipping updates.
Avoid using this company appalling customer service.
Hopefully will get my money back through PayPal if not will get credit card company to do a cash back claim absolute joke off a company.

I bought a remote from them received a faulty one, seller didn't want to send a label for return didn't offer to replace the faulty item, ignored messages. Ended up paying myself for the return, didn't get a refund not even for the remote. Scammers

They don’t deliver goods then ignore your request for a refund.

It would appear they are a scam

No returns and extremely rude.

This company says that it has a returns policy. I bought the wrong part for a mixer and it arrived in a thin card board box and an unsealed plastic bag. They said I could not return it as I had opened it. Their correspondence was curt, illiterate and extremely unhelpful. I would recommend that any prospective customer avoid this company like the plague. shame Trust Pilot doesn't have a less than one star rating! Appalling.

Highly recommended merchant with excellent communication…

I have dealt with many companies over the years having run our own company in the private housing sector, and Spares Direct have proven to be as good as a company gets. Ryan kept me fully informed regarding the progress of my order which arrived early on the second day after dispatch. I would highly recommend this company based on personal experience.

First class.

Goods brand new in original packing and received in four days from order. It would have been two days if Parcelforce had performed better, but I had good communication from Ryan with immediate response by phone to my email question. Overall, the service and performance from Spares Direct was first class.

Better than their Star Rating

Ordered a boiler from two usual suppliers and both said they had it in stock only to find they didn’t. I ordered from Spares Direct and they had it in stock and delivered within 2 days. Just goes to show you can’t always judge a company on some negative historical reviews. All companies make mistakes, but the service and communication I have had from Spares Direct has been fantastic.

Avoid at all cost
Spent a lot of money on major part for for boiler and it arrived faulty, been emailing and phoning for 2 weeks chasing a replacement part, still not here but showing on the site as in stock. Trading standards next.....

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, THEN SAY IT ISN'T IN STOCK AND DON'T REFUND YOUR MONEY!!
This company took my money then hours later sent the following email:
'Hello
I am sorry this item is currently out of stock, so although we expect to restock fairly soon, in order to avoid delaying your repair, we are refunding your order.
I am sorry about this inconvenience.

HOWEVER, THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED ANYTHING BACK TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT! I contacted the company yesterday and the 0800 number went to Ian's mobile. I told him this hadn't been refunded and he said he'd look into it and get back to me. HE DIDN'T! I've rang twice today and it is going to voicemail. I believe this is a fraudulent company which is taking people's money then saying the item isn't in stock and that they have refunded the money. They don't refund the money and hope that people will forget to check for their refund.

This must be the fifth time I have…

This must be the fifth time I have attempted to deal with a problem caused by a mistake made by Spares Direct of Belfast. It concerns one of the Triton shower units that was sent to me while in Wales. I have already explained that when I attempted to change the delivery address I was informed I was too late. I went ahead and ordered another shower unit to the address in Wales and then two turned up. Because of being 200 miles from home without access to the internet I was unable to return the unwanted shower unit promptly -- and have been unable to get a sensible response to my dilemma. When provided with a return authorisation label I was informed by CP that it was invalid.

Don't waste your time with these lot

Don't waste your time with these lot, They sell stuff they dont have it and they don't even contact you when they cancel the order. when you check your account it says,
"sorry this item is currently out of stock and new stock is coming in at a higher price, so we are refunding your order. If you wish to purchase at the new price, please advise, and we will notify you when back in stock"

Huh, who would buy from you again...

by the way ITEM IS STILL SHOWING IN STOCK WITH A HIGHER PRICE. so you have the item.
my advice, if you don't have the item DO NOT SELL IT.. as simple as that..

- My Washing machine had ripped the seal
- Contacted spares Direct
- A well-spoken lady answered the phone ordered part via debit card.
- Waited for several days, no ARRIVAL OF PRODUCT
- Contacted them again lady said she was outside and opening shop.
- In the meantime, I checked trust pilot reviews of this company and they were all very poor.
- That was enough when she rang back she gave me the story of misdirecting my product and sending the item to the wrong address and forwarding a product to me which was meant for another customer.
- Her argument did not add up as I had not received the product from the other customer.
- I SENSED SHE WAS Misleading me
- Then she offered to reorder it for me, I said "No thanks" Trust pilot reviews said it all and that was enough, no more amateurish methods in dealing with me.
- I immediately asked for a refund they kept me waiting for a week a washing machine full of dirty clothes and she wanted to start the process from scratch.
- I then went to Hotpoint direct who were offering the same product for £37.99 I told them Spares Direct were doing it for £23.99. Hotpoint then checked their website and came back to me and matched, sorry beat Spares Direct Price and sold it me for £22.00
- Do not deal with Spares Direct unless you want my experience.

Ordered a part on Sunday (website said …

Ordered a part on Sunday (website said 3-5 days delivery) Booked in someone to fit part the following Saturday (6 days after order date). Tried calling on day 4 to ask when it would arrive. Didn't sound professional on the phone. was told I would be called back. The following lunchtime, still no call, phoned again. Told that they didn't even have the part in stock! I said that on the website it said in stock for same day dispatch, she argued that it was in stock it just wasn't with them yet to send out....that's out of stock then!

Would certainly not recommend!
