No Nonsense Service
I was met on the phone with a friendly greeting. I stated to the man what I wanted. He repeated my order, asked me to hold the line, and I didn’t have to wait very long before he returned with description of the item and told me the total price including postage. Very efficient, and obviously was knowledgeable about the item. Tip to management:- Look after this employee, I hope he’s on duty when I ring next time.

They contacted me about the order to make sure that it was what I wanted. Very polite and helpful over the phone.
I placed an order back in April 2025…
I placed an order back in April 2025 for my Ryobi sander.
I was initially told the parts were not in stock but had been ordered. After several more emails chasing the delivery i was then told one of the items had arrived but still waiting on the other. Here we are nearly 1 year later and no parts delivered and not able to contact the website as I am being advised it is a scam website by my computer security. I have since asked for a refund but to be honest i don't hold out much hope.

I called not knowing exactly what parts I needed for my power tools, James quickly identified what I needed and helped me order over the phone rather than having to go back online and through a website, it's good to be able to speak with someone and get what you need.

TERRIBLE
I placed my order on 02/02, and for 14 days there was no update at all. I contacted customer service and was sent a delivery status showing “in transit,” and was told to wait longer.
As there had been no progress, I requested to cancel my order because I had already purchased the item from a different supplier. I received no response to my cancellation request.
Despite this, I received the unwanted item on 25/02. The receipt inside showed it was only dispatched on 21/02, which suggests my cancellation request was ignored.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend dealing with this company.

I am still waiting for delivery of my order, credit card has been charged but goods have not been despatched.
i keep receiving emails saying that they are waiting for stock to arrive.
At no point on their web pages or even at point of order did it say the item orderd was not in stock and would be on a long lead time.
i keep getting emails saying they are still waiting for the goods from their supplier. i do not beleive they should be taking my money until they have the goods and are able to despatch them on the basis that i was not informed the items were not in stock.
On the contrary i beleived the items would be despatched within 1 - 2 days. but we are now nearly 3 weeks down the line and still nothing!!
I am not remotely happy with this situation
Great Customer Service
I spoke to James twice over the phone on separate occasions about parts I was trying to buy to repair my hedge trimmer and both times he was very helpful,answered all my queries and I was able to order the parts with him over the phone,he informed me before I ordered that they were currently on order,gave me timeframes when they should be in stock and out to me for delivery,I appreciated his honesty and being upfront about the stock and now await my parts arriving to hopefully fix my hedge trimmer. I will happily use Spare Tools Parts again based on my experience so far and thanks again James.
I placed an order at the beginning of December
I placed an order at the beginning of December and was told it would be delivered within a few days. That did not happen.
I contacted the company multiple times and was repeatedly told the delivery would take up to two weeks as the item was coming from Japan. I was given the same explanation again just before Christmas.
After Christmas, in January, I was told the company did not know what was happening with my order and that someone would get back to me as soon as possible. No one did. I was later asked to send an email as the person who could check was unavailable, but I never received a response.
My recent phone calls have been extremely frustrating. Calls have been disconnected, I have been put on hold repeatedly, and on several occasions I was told there were “interruptions” even though I could clearly hear the representative and background voices. I have also experienced multiple calls being ended.
Overall, the lack of communication, inconsistent information, and poor customer service have been very disappointing. I am still waiting for a clear update on my order or a resolution.
I HAVE MANAGED TO GET THROUGH AND REQUESTED A REFUND - I WILL UPDATE HOW THIS HAS RESOLVED
