Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 593 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the quality of the products, noting they are well-packaged, arrive without damage, and perform as described. Many appreciate the company's efficient delivery service, with orders often arriving quickly and sometimes even sooner than promised, making it a preferred choice for project needs. The ordering process is generally described as simple and intuitive, with good communication regarding order status. However, some people were dissatisfied with certain aspects. A few customers experienced issues with missing parts or products being dead on arrival, and some found the shipping costs for small orders to be prohibitive. There were also occasional complaints about delays in shipping updates and, in a few instances, receiving incorrect replacement parts or products that did not function as expected.

The $60 sensor is defective but after…

The $60 sensor is defective but after six hours of troubleshooting myself they want me to spend more hours troubleshooting on their forums before accepting a return or exchange. To make matters worse, DigiKey currently sells the same sensor for $37. 👎

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback!

After reviewing your account, I'm not 100% sure which product you're referring to as the most expensive part you purchased from us was $60 but I'm assuming it's the sensor you purchased most recently. Unfortunately, that sensor is not something we manufacture at our facility in Colorado so our troubleshooting capabilities are likely limited. It is our company policy to send any technical support/troubleshooting questions to our Forums as that is where our Technical Support Representatives respond and answer questions and that's also where we have a very active community of people who will jump in to help even if our Representatives are not available.

We understand you didn't want to go to the Forums and that is okay but our Customer Support team is limited in their ability to help from a technical standpoint, especially for products we don't manufacture at our facility.

I do apologize that this was your experience but we have made the business decision to ask people to go to our Technical Support Forums for any technical aid so our Representative was sharing our policy with you.

We do appreciate any feedback and apologize that this experience wasn't as expected. In the future, you can always emails support@sparkfun.com but the best way to get technical help is to utilize our Forums. Thank you again for taking the time to leave us your feedback.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback.

After reviewing your account, it does appear that the order was delivered today. I do apologize that delivery took so long. The package did leave our dock and was handed off to the carrier on January 26th and, unfortunately, once handed off to our carriers, we have no control over how long it takes them to process and deliver the package.

Hopefully the package has arrived as the tracking shows but please reach out to support@sparkfun.com if that is not the case.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave us feedback!

Wrong part sent

Wrong part sent, then replacement was wrong part again (see orders 10699352 & 10707419). Your John Trepke was very pleasant, but he couldn't repair the incompetence of your parts management.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback.

I am sorry to hear this has been your experience but I am so glad John was pleasant and helped out as best he could. And, thank you for going to the Forums to seek technical assistance. John did notify our internal teams of this issue after helping you and we are actively digging into our inventory to see what the issue might be. There are several possibilities as to why this happened but we do take this feedback seriously and do often update our internal processes and inventory management when we get feedback like this.

Thank you again for going to the Forums and for taking the time to leave us feedback and I'm so sorry this was your experience. If there is anything else we can do, please reach out to support@sparkfun.com.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback!

I have reviewed your account and the order you placed, including the questions asked of our Customer Support staff. Whenever our customers have any sort of technical issue, we do ask them to post on the Forums because that is where our Technical Support team answers questions and helps out customers troubleshoot. We also have a wide community that enjoys jumping in to help customers troubleshoot as well if the Technical Support Representatives are not available.

Reviewing the questions asked, our Technical Support Forums would have been the place to help answer those questions and help offer solutions to either get the parts working or diagnose potential problems.

I'm sorry the experience wasn't what you hoped for and please reach out to support@sparkfun.com if we can help out in any other way. Thank you again for the feedback.
