BEWARE

BEWARE. Dreadful company. Fitted a main household consumer unit for us in Dec 2020 and we paid in full immediately in reply to their invoice expecting the job was finished. The following October we had 3 electrical companies refuse to do a simple socket addition in our lounge because of the unsafe condition of the consumer unit as installed by Sparkys and Hutch, and 2 of them recommended we report them to NAPIT as a matter of urgency. The consumer unit had no RCD or equivalent protection. The unit had no bonding whatsoever to the water piping and the gas bonding was attached to the wrong pipe. Sparkys and Hutch were contacted in that October but were full of excuses and said they would put things right...... only they didn't. Next we reported Mr Hutchins & his Co. to NAPIT who agreed the job must be completed. After MANY months of fighting our case and several threats to suspend his company from NAPIT he finally completed his work in May 2022. However he did not supply the EIC and BRCC certificates that he was legally obliged to send to us. Only after we reported this to NAPIT who again threatened suspension if he did not supply these legal certificates did everything get concluded. Should this firm deny these comments we ask any future customers to contact us and we will provide PROOF of this firm's unprofessional and worrying conduct.

Electrical Installation Condition Report

Matt did an EICR for us. Very professional, friendly and efficient. Very quick to respond. Highly recommended! If we need any more electrical work doing around the house I’d definitely contact Matt.
