We recently bought a new build house with large, double height curtain wall windows at the front. We were looking for a specialist blind company to do a good job and Specialist Blinds were true to their name. The service has been really good from the first contact and subsequent visit from local rep Greg, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He passed over to Rob our fitter who was brilliant. He did a pre-order survey and came back to do a great job fitting the blinds. We received informed advice throughout and the product is high quality and works brilliantly. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend Specialist Blinds.

Good communication from start to finish. Very helpful salesman who showed us all the options we could have for our bi-folds and wasn't pushy. The fitting process was smooth and relatively quick and the blinds look amazing and really keep in the warmth. Overall very happy and would highly recommend.

Specialist Blinds promised us precision and craftsmanship and they delivered 100%. We have a very complicated and bespoke conservatory and the blinds delivered are exactly what they promised. We couldn’t be happier.

We had twenty blinds of varying sizes and shapes installed in our conservatory five years ago. At the time we signed up for their five year annual maintenance programme, where they come and clean and service the blinds each year. I cannot recommend this highly enough. After five years the blinds still look as good as new, with none of the staining and insect debris that usually gathers. An excellent follow up service.

I needed blinds to reduce the heat and glare in my small conservatory which was reaching over 41c in summer. My consultant Paul explained the options and recommended cellular blinds all round (I'd initially wanted just the roof and the large windows done, not the small windows and double doors). I'm so glad I took his advice. He fitted the blinds a few weeks later and the difference is staggering. I can read/work without being dazzled and at midday it hasn't exceeded 34c inside. The blinds are well made, look super smart and are easy to operate. As it's got colder, I've found that closing them at night has also helped to keep heat in. I highly recommend Specialist Blinds.

I’ve had my blinds installed now for 2years and I absolutely love them. They are on my conservatory roof and make the room so much more useable. They look like a cream ceiling on dark nights and I open them every morning to let the sun and light in. Can’t recommend Specialist Blinds enough.

From sales to fitting we had a brilliant experience with Specialist Blinds. We had automatic blinds fitted for large sliding doors. We are really happy with the product quality and design and would happily recommend.

We had a complicated kitchen with large sloping glass panels and lights near the glass. The kitchen was hot in summer and cold in winter. We now have amazing blinds that we are very happy with. Massive shout out to Ryan who installed them working non stop from 8am to 7:30pm and to Grant for patiently helping me find an electrician to move our lights.

Am highly delighted with the product and service I’ve received. The representatives were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable and installation carried out with a minimum of fuss. Would definitely recommend this company.

Just had gable-end blinds supplied and fitted. The whole experience from initial assessment then detailed survey, then fitting was first rate. The blinds look great and really help in afternoon/evening where the west facing window turned the room into a green house

Exceptional service by Specialist Blinds, from sales to installation. Expert fitting under the lean-to glass roof of our large conservatory. The blinds have made a huge difference to the temperature inside the room and they look very smart. No hesitation in recommending this company. We would definitely use them again if we need blinds elsewhere.

We’d had our gable window & 5 meter bifolds for 3 years before getting blinds. I saw an installation on Instagram and only then realised you could get amazing electric blinds. I sent off an enquiry, arranged a chap to come & give me a quote. Pretty sure his name was Andy. Brilliant service and talked thru the options. Got electric blinds for gable (triangle) window and blinds that sit in the bifold recess and can open from top of bottom. Install was by Jeff who did the survey also. Overall from enquiry to install was only 2 months which is quick. The quality and fit is amazing. Also got French door bifold blinds in another room (black out ones). Total cost was c. £7.5K so not cheap but I didn’t fall off my chair. After previously using other well know natural blind/ shutter companies I was realistic in what you have to pay for quality. This certainly didn’t disappoint.. I am over the moon. We can now watch TV again in the evenings during summer, and the heat is definitely improved, the blinds allow the room to be so much cooler. The service has been great. My only regret, I hadn’t discovered Specialist Blinds sooner. Thank you to the whole team!

Brilliant service and extremely helpful with automated blinds

Got new conservatory blinds Feb 25. Excellent service throughout from measuring to fitting. Large choice of blinds. We went for Roman. Fit perfectly, look lovely, reasonable price

Just some advice - I had a duette electronic blind fitted in my kitchen conservatory lantern in November 2023. It is very high and difficult to access to keep clean. Although the customer service provided by Specialist Blinds was very good, at no time did they tell me that the duette tubes are left open at the end so that bugs - wasps, flies, insects - crawl inside. I contacted them in May 2024 but it is £150 to have the blind cleaned and, on the basis that bugs crawl in there regularly I am going to be spending £300 plus a year. I googled and you can suck out the bugs with a low heat hairdryer but I am in my 60s so getting on top of a step ladder and reaching up into the lantern is not a good idea. So my advice would be to find a structure that is closed. Although I am sure there is a good reason why they are open but had I been advisted of this I wouldn't have installed a blind with this particular structure.

After much research we chose Specialist Blinds to fit an electric pleated duette blind to our large roof lantern. Very pleased with the product. The whole process, from the sales consultation to installation, all went very smoothly and the blind looks brilliant. Special mention must be given to the fitter, Andy, who did a first class, meticulous job. Also very friendly, nice guy.
I can’t comment on the after sales service as we haven’t needed to use it yet.

I've been using this company since we moved to the current house in year 2006. From the sale to the after service, the whole experience has been pleasant and very satisfying. I thoroughly recommend the Specialist Blinds.
