I have been using Spencer James since 2009 for my home purchase then let and finally selling the property. I couldn’t rate the company highly enough, every person I interacted with in the last 15years or so. Andy Panteli sold me the property in 2009, then took on letting of the property which was huge stress reliever. Finally in 2025, on deciding to sell the property, of course I turned to Spencer James to assist with this. A reliable buyer was found within weeks in a tricky UK market. Having Spencer James as, what felt like a partner, throughout this property journey has been a blessing.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Spencer James. The team has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process. Every interaction has been professional, friendly, and reassuring. They truly go above and beyond to make things smooth and stress-free.

I had a booked viewing and had just some concerns about the property like general questions and I called Andy Panteli to ask about them and he was so rude and rather than giving information about the property he said " Cancel your viewing and look for another property and hang up the phone. "

Poor quality properties to let.
Maybe they're good for landlords because they surely don't care about the condition of a property. I have viewed 6 properties with this agent, at the end of 2024 and recently around June/July and each property was dirty including footprints on the sofa, had broken furniture, broken door handles and varying states of disrepair.

Thankfully there was a current tenant home when we viewed one property who said they'd reported an issue when they moved in and we're still waiting for the repair. The agent said everything to discredit the tenant. When we questioned damage to door handles and other blatant areas in need of repair, she said we'd need to request these on the offer form, I was shocked that they intend to leave the damage as it was.

I have viewed many properties with agents, in different conditions over the years, yes some are not good but never have I dealt with an agent with properties of a consistently poor standard. They advertise properties with old pictures, before the wear and tear. Shockingly bad.

I have been working with Andreas Panteli at Spencer James for 15 years, which has not only been a highly successful business relationship and but a relationship which goes above and beyond expectations.

Andreas is an expert with property rentals, sales, and management.

He is the strongest agent in the area and I fully recommend him to anyone. His professionalism and reliability is second to none, and he always delivers by deadlines and within budget. I often don't have time to monitor my investment properties and I know I can always hand the responsibility over to him.

When purchasing properties he has delivered opportunities below market value, with regards to rentals he has always secured strong tenancies paying above market rates, and with management he simply takes care of all responsibilities using his initiative to make sure everything runs like clockwork. All of this is all delivered at a competitive rate and within budget.

What surprised me most is his ability to rent properties all over London. As he continued to exceed my expectations I started to give him properties out of his area, and he not only managed to let them on time but achieved better rents than competing agents in the local area.

I recommend that all interested parties get in touch with Andreas. He's someone who goes above and beyond the call of duty, in turn making the whole process run smoothly. He'll often go out of his way, even when out of hours to see that his clients needs and expectations are met and delivered to the highest standards.

I now just use Andreas for all my property matters, as I can rest assured that everything will be taken care of to the highest standards, allowing me to devote my time and efforts to other areas of my life.

I have worked with SJ for over 15 years now - using both their sales and rental services and cannot recommend highly enough.
