Very disappointing food, naan is like roti, charsi karahi was disgusting, malai tikka and chicken tikka was not great taste. They need to visit Royal nawab see how there food taste. Total meal cost me £133.32 , we should have gone to Royal nawab.

Ich habe am 26. August eine Online-Bestellung bei Spice Village Supermarket aufgegeben (ca. 60 €). Auf der Webseite steht Lieferung am selben Tag, aber heute ist der 30. August und ich habe immer noch nichts erhalten.

Mehrmals bekam ich E-Mails mit „Zustellversuch fehlgeschlagen". Auf Nachfrage hieß es jedoch, dass es keinen Zustellversuch gab - stattdessen wartete man auf fehlende Artikel vom Lieferanten. Mir wurde zugesichert, die Lieferung komme am nächsten Tag. Wieder kam die gleiche E-Mail. Danach hieß es, die Lieferung erfolge noch am Abend - aber niemand kam.

Das Ganze wiederholt sich ständig. Es wäre wirklich das Mindeste, nicht verfügbare Artikel aus dem Shop zu nehmen oder eine ehrliche und klare Auskunft zu geben, wann geliefert wird - anstatt jeden Tag zu sagen „heute" und dann nicht zu erscheinen.
Sehr enttäuschend. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wo meine Bestellung ist, und kann diesen Service nicht empfehlen.

I placed an order on 26th August and immediately received an email saying my order was "on the way." Shortly after, I got another email saying delivery had "failed." When I called to check, I was told no delivery attempt had actually been made because items were missing - something never mentioned in the emails.
I waited two more days and was assured the order would be delivered on 29th, but again nothing arrived. On 30th, I finally received a call informing me that several items, including the Sadhya Kit, were still not available, and that the only option was to take a larger version of the kit for an extra €20. Two other items from my order were also unavailable.

At that point, I decided to cancel because after waiting four days, not only were items still missing, but I wa ng asked to pay extra for a product I didnt originally order.
None of this was my fault - the website showed the items as available, and there was no proactive communication about the delays or missing products.
In the end, I didn't receive what I ordered, and the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I hope the company improves their stock updates and communication with customers.

Attended this restaurant with a group. The menu and prices listed online are very different from what they offer in-house, which was quite disappointing. However, the service from Monir was superb—very attentive and professional.
The starters were great, but the chicken biryani was not enjoyable at all and was served in small portions. To our surprise, the final bill was quite high, even though we didn’t have any dessert.

From start to finish, an absolute amazing experience. It was a lovely warm welcome, and very attentive service. The restaurant was clean, and the decor well put together. The food was fresh, arrived to the table quickly, and every dish was very tasty! We left with very full bellies. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they go above and beyond what you would expect. Our daughter dropped her book behind the waterfall feature wall, the lovely men working at the restaurant quite literally pulled the restaurant apart to retrieve the book, they moved tables and chairs, and completely unscrewed the feature wall to retrieve the book for our daughter, who was ecstatic to have her book back. We have definitely found our new favourite Indian restaurant!! Highly recommend.

The biryani was so off, it had no flavour whatsoever, it was like eating outdated rice and was coughing loads. I don’t recommend anyone trying this biryani ever again. It was absolutely disgusting and I don’t wish this on my worst enemy. Poor quality, poor taste. -5/10.

I just wanted to give you a very good review to spice village that you can add non spice village website. My niece had her wedding on 29.09.2024 and the catering was spice village. Just wanted to say it was amazing food and all guests were very happy with the service and food. We particularly want to thank Nouman, who was keeping us updated with the catering menu throughout the preparations. Thank you so much

It was a nice experience to eat Indian vegetarian food plus same time you got great hospitality from The owner. We can also buy The Indian Glossary from there.
Vadapav and samosa were the best delicious food.
Everyone should visit this restaurant and Glossary shop in Berlin at the latest one time.

I recently ordered some food items online from Spice Village, and there was an issue: one item was missing and was replaced with Maniarr's Khari, which had an expired MHB (Mindestens haltbar bis) date, and no one bothered to notify me about it. This kind of service is unacceptable.
It seems like Spice Village either doesn’t care about their customers or thinks they can get away with it.

This is happening for the third time that either ordered product has been replaced by another one or it will be completely missing. In my recent order one product is missing and one is replaced by a different one and on the top of that, the given item is expired.

Some of the products they sell are of very poor quality.
They are not concerned about the customer feedback. Do not buy mangoes from them online. They say no guarantee on mangoes but they send rotten mangoes. Looks like it is on purpose. I ordered twice, but in both cases, it had rotten mangoes. Not just with mangoes, it is true for all fresh food they send by parcel.

other than fresh food, I have rarely faced issues with packed food. The issue was resolved with few interactions

Delicious food and beautiful ambience. Welcoming staff. I would highly recommend it.

Service was reasonably good, waiters were friendly but not really attentive at all considering it was not busy at all on a Sunday evening, had to wait a while, got fedup and even had to ask before someone came to take our order.
The menu is way too expensive for the food being served, food nothing special anymore, previously food & portions were much better but now just meagre portions, no salad with meal, SV was normally our main destination, but not anymore, unless I have no choice it is very unlikely me or my my family or friends will ever visit any of the branches ever again, honest opinion.

First time ordering lamb rogan josh was to die for... This time lamb rogan josh was probably to die from. It was deffo not lamb. Mutton probably or goat but certainly not lamb. All gristle. Was horrendous. Won't be ordering that again

A very good service, best waitress and waiters you will get. Chicken and lamb chops was so delicious. Highly recommended it to others.
