I needed to pay to try all features out, but then I realised that Spike missed some critical features so I emailed them within 24 hours of my subscription asking to cancel my subscription. But they said they can't refund the money and I had to read their policy. So I warn everyone to watch out for Spikes money tricks!

I don’t know why I keep seeing “Error”when I try to send a message. Please explain why this is a major problem. I don’t know whether my messages are sent or not. It is very stressful, and I am about to give up.

Having used a lot of email clients over the past few decades, Spike continues to be the best on the market for me.
What I love most about Spike is that my mobile and desktop email are perfectly in synch. Pins, Focus and Other email is always the same and really helps me manage my email workflow. I love how I can quickly scan my “Other” inbox on my iPhone, and then with a single long press can mark all of the unimportant emails as read. Totally helps me with my badge OCD.
The main thing that holds me back from giving this a 5 star rating is that pinch zooming the mobile app continues to be wonky. When you pinch it centers on the email, instead of the current view, which for long emails can be well off screen, and the detail that I wanted to look more closely at, like the image or small text flies off screen.
Also, system calendar integration and attachment handling defaults to built in viewers instead of my default MacOS handlers so my calendar invites get lost, and I have to take some extra steps to view attachments.

Dear Customer Service,
I am writing to express my serious concern and dissatisfaction regarding the process required to cancel my subscription. It has come to my attention that the cancellation process requires me to reinstall the app, a requirement that seems unnecessarily burdensome and contrary to the principles of clear and easy cancellation stipulated by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
In January 2023, I attempted to cancel this service from within the app. Despite my efforts, my cancellation request was not processed, and I was informed that I was not due for a refund as I was outside that year’s 14-day rule. This is concerning as I have been unable to cancel my subscription since then. I was under the impression that my cancellation in January went through as I was informed then that I would not be due a refund for 2022.
On August 30, 2023, I reached out to you again, requesting the cancellation of my account and a refund of my payment made on August 25, 2023. However, I received a message from Spike Pro on September 6, 2023, stating that my request has been open for over a week without any response from me, and marking the ticket as solved. However, I had not opened a ticket and was not aware of any ongoing communication regarding this issue.
As per the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), businesses must ensure sign-ups are clear, consensual, and easy to cancel. Specifically, businesses should provide cancellation mechanisms that are at least as easy to use as the method the customer used to buy the product or service in the first place.
Your current cancellation process, which requires customers to reinstall an app, does not align with these guidelines. It is neither easy nor convenient, and it certainly does not match the simplicity of the initial sign-up process.
I kindly but firmly request that you review this policy and consider implementing a more straightforward cancellation process that aligns with FTC guidelines and respects the rights of consumers.
I expect a refund of my charges from August 25, 2023. The 14-day rule should not apply as I assumed I was previously cancelled and was not looking for a message from Spike Pro. Furthermore, I should not have been charged this year as I was informed in January that I was cancelled but would not receive any refund from 2022.
If my issue is not resolved within 72 hours of this message, I will pursue reporting this matter to the FTC. I am committed to ensuring that consumers are treated fairly and that businesses adhere to the guidelines set forth by the FTC. I believe that by addressing this issue, we can prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.
Failure to address this issue in a timely and satisfactory manner will leave me with no choice but to escalate this matter further. I am prepared to take the necessary steps to ensure that my rights as a consumer are protected.
