minus 1 if I could do it

minus 1 if I could do it, very poor communication with connection. I couldn't have connection for more than 1 month, I then disconnected, and I was charged for 1 more month. Paid for 2 and a half months and used 0MB . Very difficult to call/ communicate

Money robber

BE AWARE OF that when you try to cancel your service at the beginning of a month, they will charge you until the end of the month WITHOUT SERIVCE PROVIDED. That's ridiculous!

To be fare 1 star is too much I wish…

To be fare 1 star is too much I wish there is 0.
I was trying to call them for 3 days in a row and everytime I spend more than Hour with no luck then they ask you if you want to get call back and you have no choice but to agree.still you will never get that call .

I'm soooo over this company!

If you want to sign up they'll answer the phone inside of 10 minutes every time.

However, once you are an existing customer you will find it hard get through to a rep inside of 2 hours on the very best day. And trust me if they could guarantee 2 hours at this point it would be fast for them. Too much of run around to write in detail. Been repeated experiences with massive wait time frustrations

Call backs the next day (or 2) can hang up on you etc etc

Frustrating to the max to get basic communication through

Very polite, great staff once answered

Just the wait time is hideous.

Worst company ever

Re: 299523. Rubbish. Hours long to get through over wrong charge. No call back. No chat responses. Phone lines and chat are not manned. Don't use them. Bet other reviews are paid or influenced. They are rubbish. Tio complaint lodged.

Poor customer service

Good experience in the transfer over of service. But, they have made a billing mistake ( charging me $85 a month instead of the agreed and advertised $80 a month). I have been on the phone now for over 2.5 hours on hold just trying to get that sorted. Can’t use my online account as I can’t access it. Another thing I was hoping to correct through calling them.

Could not even contact them to enquire about a new service. Spent an eternity on the phone waiting early this morning and gave up after an hour. Pressed the 1 option to receive a callback when l was at the top of the queue and 7 hours later lm still waiting. Useless thank god I found this out before signing up

most likely customer service does not exist

Spintel offers 3 different telephone lines for contacting customers.......Anyone can do it at any time of the day, but I warn and guarantee everyone that after connecting with any of their numbers, you will have time to clean the house, prepare dinner, supper for friends, and in the evening take some guests home. After returning home, you will still hear the same "talking parrot" waiting for a connection.... I think it's some kind of African circus.... A shock of the 21st century.

Had amazing customer service 2 years ago

I returned to spintel last week however found it difficult to get through to anyone on the phone after three attempts and over an hour in the queue on each call. Finally someone got back to me after two days.

Spintel Phone Account

I asked Spintel by phone to troubleshoot a problem with their voicemail service, when I dialed the voicemail number *96 (which is an outside line) and was asked to provide a password. The female assistant from Spintel told me it was an issue with the settings on my Uniden desk phone and that I should talk to the manufacturer. I asked them why it was possible to make outside calls, for example to voicemail or to my wife, if it was a problem with my phone. They insisted that their advice was correct, so I had no choice but to cancel the phone service.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

I’m extremely disappointed with SpinTel’s customer service. It is nearly impossible to reach them by phone – calls go unanswered or are endlessly on hold. Their WhatsApp support is just as bad, with hopelessly slow response times. When they finally reply, the answers are often irrelevant or make no sense, clearly written by untrained offshore operators who don’t understand the actual enquiry.

It's incredibly frustrating trying to get even basic support. If you need reliable service or customer care, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. SpinTel has been a major letdown.

Once great customer service has…

Once great customer service has disappeared. I think they may have been off-shored recently. Its just a complete disaster. On hold for 3+ hours. SIM card activated on website 7 days ago - still waiting for it to happen. Avoid this company. Will move internet and phones to another provider.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever!

One week of no internet, waited on hold for 90 minutes with no solution provided, called again waited on hold for 40 minutes - poor line so the lady hung up, then finally got someone who basically just Ramesh me out the trouble shooting from the website.

Cancelled contract today after 1 week, so glad I don’t have to deal with them again.

Avoid.

Onboarding was great! then is was downhill from there. For the first month I had no service due to network upgrades. Tried calling the company and you will be put on hold for hours request a call back only to be put on hold. My bill went from $54 to $69 without notification. Internet service is very basic - between 7 and 10 pm I had a speed of 0.1mbps, too slow to open an email. Finally went to cancel - internet was ironically too slow to do it online, tried calling for days could not get through to anybody. Now I'm being forced into another billing cycle. Would not recommend this company to anybody.

Spintel misleads about their pricing

Been with Spintel for a month and they are already increasing the pricing. They advertised with the quote "Monthly Total while you keep your bundle" but then before my second invoice, increased the price by $5 a month. The chat person, Harnie, stated the increase of $5 was NBN CPI increase, but when challenged on this due to NBN only increasing the price by $1.79, she admitted it was a business decision price increase and not due to NBN. Between misleading pricing on their website and lying to customers, blaming others for the price increase is easier than telling their customers the truth.
If the performance of Spintel was good, maybe this could be forgiven, but the speed and reliability is all over the place.

Deliberate Evasion

They poached us, stating we could get speeds we can't, charged us for it, refused to connect me with complaints, I have tried the link (doesn't work), the chat doesn't let me respond and closes, eventually I left a a survey response saying I will go to ombudsman, then suddenly the chat works, the complaints have still refused to get back to me, the email is not valid both internally (in the spintel system) and externally, they are purposely avoiding me and I have proof.

When I went to pay my bill

When I went to pay my bill, it kept rejecting the payment. I know my account details are correct. I can not access my account at all. I've also called twice, waiting on hold, so I requested a call back. Which I never received. Just received an sms now that the payment has been rejected again and that I have 24 hours to pay it or my service will be interrupted. So I ring again and had to request a call back again. Spintel rang only to have it intercepted by another caller and they hung up.

Worst ever company ever

Worst ever company ever. Signed up for 5 g internet 50 mb/s.They sent me modem- without any instructions how to connect it, it was on bottom of modem qr code, which I should scan, and it should be take me to instruction. But it’s not, qr code didn’t work. Finally I connected my self, but speed was 6-7 mb /s and it was dropping a lot. I tried to reach them any way they provided- livechat,what’s up, call, no response at all. I used this internet for 2 days and canceled. I paid 25 $ for delivery modem to me, then I paid 28 $ to return modem, plus they want to charge me for whole month since I signed contract, not since I got modem and connected and 2.30 for something else and 3 times 1 $ each for verification card.So resume ,for being use internet for 2 days I lost 25+28+59+2.30 +1+1+1 =117$ dollars. Don’t sign with them , you will lose your money and you will get horrible service.

No customer service whatsoever

No customer service whatsoever. Been trying to get hold of them for a trivial service cancellation request way before the activation date, via all the methods possible (live chat, phone, email, WhatsApp) with multiple nudges, but almost a week with no reply nor callback is absolutely a joke. I cannot believe they still have customers and still operate, or they do not?

This is the worst internet company I’ve ever dealt with. It’s nearly impossible to reach them. I’ve tried calling them, using their online chat, and even leaving them messages on WhatsApp for three days, but I haven’t received a single response. I really don’t recommend this company to anyone, and I believe that most of the good reviews for them are fake.
