Deep rumbling double bass sounds have always been something I gravitate towards and Legendary Low Strings delivers this and more.
A fantastic addition to create nice melodic passages for the low end of your string section. Legatos are a must-have
I absolutely love this library, it sounds huuuuuge! I never have to add any reverb, even the built in one, because Abbey Road just sounds incredible (mix 1.) I gave this 4 stars because, although it sounds so good, it only comes with Legato, long, stacc, and spicc. Personally I mainly use the legatos, and the spiccato's, I don't use the longs, I feel a much more useful articulation to have instead, or in addition to the longs, would be tremolo. I imagine it would sound insane in Abbey Road! Another useful articulation it's missing, is pizzicato. Even the BBBSO Discover comes with tremolo and pizzicato, when spitfire adds tremolo and pizzicato to Legendary Low strings, I'd give it 6 stars if I could!
I really wish there was more to this package. I got more out of the LABS
I love all spitfire material, samples, plug-ins everything I have ever gotten from Spitfire has been amazing. I only go to Spitfire for my strings. The surprisingly low cost for this amazing sounding string package helped me bring so much tension and power to my composing. You can get so many intense feelings across with Legendary Low Strings. This product has added the intensity I needed to my music. And it sounds so clear and precise never muddy no matter how many intervals you use. Extraordinary like always.

U should add legato to abbey road one
The sound is amazing. I immediately used it on my recent release "Into the Unknown" and it gives a very full, deep sound that I can not easily get from my other libraries. Only drawback is that it combines Bass and Cello, and that you can not separate them. I assume one can do this when you buy the full Collections. For only EURO 49 I got something that is very specific and maybe somewhat limited, but at least of incredibly good quality! It is the latter that makes me likely to use it a lot in my future compositions.
