I like the fact that these are orchestral sounds by section. You get very quickly a full cinematic sound that triggers inspiration.

Excellent sonic options and workflow.
At 1st I thought there will be individual patches of instruments but I was at fault that I didn't see. The ensemble recording is good for beginners and those who like to just make music on the go. The sample quality is great, so I am satisfied with the purchase. Also I got it for half the price.
I really like the samples in the Albion ONE collection. I do not like the user interface at all. It is extremely hard for me to work with - it feels like I'm working on the bits of a tiny microchip. Everything is so small, the fonts, the buttons (oh, and the buttons are not well defined graphically - sometimes I can't really see where a button starts and ends). The VST is not re-sizable at all. If it were re-sizable that would really help.
Amazing experience to bring inspiration.
Albion One is amazing, but we can use it only in Kontakt and we are unable to increase the size of interface in DAW, so it’s really a pain to use. Would’ve been 5 stars if that was fixed.
Fun to use and so easy to learn
This is purely epic! Love already Colossus!
I’m just starting with music composing but based on reviews and recommendations I’m happy I chose Spitfire’s Albion One. It will help me with my composing journey and I’m stoked to start using it!
Very nice sound quality overall. I just didn’t like the way everything was displayed and how it was sorted. I really wish that there was a search menu. I had problems at first with loading the library. My fault though because my drive was not correctly formatted. This fixes the really really long load times.
Albion is a great tool, it sounds amazing. Great quality like all Spitfire libraries.
For anyone looking for the epic orchestra sound (Hans Zimmer etc.), I can't recommend this highly enough. Within minutes I was able to create a mockup of an idea that ended up sounding incredible (and, probably for the first time ever, better than what was playing in my head).
This is a class sample set , don’t think it will ever age
Albion one is a huge level of beauty and darkness that will touch your heart
Really happy that I followed the recommendation of a friends, using the strings and perc loops on a regular basis now. Also value for price is really decent!
Amazing sounds, very easy and intuitive. Best of its kind
Great library, though they should make more explicit who is the target audience. If you like to orchestrate for specific instruments like me, then the approach of having generic brass & strings sections is not very compelling. It would be great to have better docs and manuals on how to use the tool, I had to google the manual after purchase to find it. The Kontakt player UI is a bit hard to understand if you don't have experience using the tool, and the text font size and buttons are very small and not zoomable.
The best thing about Albion One is that it is very versatile. Spitfire Audio were not kidding when they said that Albion One has everything you need to make film music. A lovely orchestra and some other synthetic patches really helps you pick out the best ways to convey your own music. This was my first purchase from Spitfire Audio, and I am very satisfied about it. Cheers!
It all sounds good, but after using it for a couple of weeks I have to say I'm a little disappointed in this library. I probably should have done a little more research before buy it. From the marketing I incorrectly assumed I'd be getting separate instrument sections, Violins, Cellos, Trumpets, Flutes, French Horns etc. But actually what you get is "Strings", "Low Brass", "High Brass", etc. It's fine for a quick sketch and some simple bombastic cues, but if you already have similar libraries, this is redundant, and it may be a better idea to look at some of the other libraries here.
Love it! Pricey but really good quality
