Albion One is an awesome Orchestra collection, one I wish I had found sooner. I own many orchestra libraries in search of one that was all encompassing. But most collections always have a gap in the likes of weak strings or frappy brass. I could get by using nothing but Albion One. The legato strings here though are the star. Those in particular are gorgeous and a joy to just play. Brass (prob the most important element for me) does not disappoint and with some tweaking can produce some truly epic brass sounds. The rest honestly is just as good (the percussion in particular rocks). And the amount of content you get for the price (I did catch it on sale) is sorta ridiculous. For this price point I haven't found anything comparable , especially in quality and tweakability (I guess that's not a word, but you know what I'm saying). I highly recommend it.

This is one of my dreams, to begin working with PROFESSIONAL standard virtual instruments and elevate my music. There is not a better place to start The only thing I would "change" would be the kontakt interface, it would be much better to have the Spitfire one as it is much more easy to work with and visually pleasing. Although I have only scratched the surface of this extraordinary product, I can already tell from my cursory overview and listening experience, this is a product is going to enrich my creative and professional life considerably. These are by no means simple tools. Albion is a rich, textual, expansive creative universe of artistic options providing everything necessary to deliver whatever is needed within the orchestral realm. As a standalone creative environment, this is the kind of product that could be used for an entire Big budget film score. The amount of options, the extraordinary user control, and the incredibly refined simplicity of use, removes technical burdens and immerses me in A playground of options and opportunity. World class sounds, incredible user interface, more options, articulations, and environments than almost any composer could ever use, it is all here. The Price of this product is mind boggling. I’ve hired Arrangers, transcriptionists, contractors, Studios, engineers and hundreds of musicians over the years. I can now hear and execute almost any idea using this extraordinary product. Whether it’s standalone, or use for orchestrations, For almost any style of music or contact, this product is an absolute masterpiece. And that’s what I’m hoping to create many of by using it!

My other libraries are choppy when writing or lag in real time performance. The flow between notes in Albion One is effortless and smooth. The dynamic range of the short notes are well balanced and sounds realistic. All the instruments fit well together and compliment each other rather than all competing for centre stage. I can now honestly say my music compositions do not lack better sounding instruments but rather require better writing skills.. Lol.

Great library with top quality sounds. This product doesn’t have many detailed sounds, but is appropriate for new composers or doing broad orchestral mock-ups, so if you are looking for a library that has, for example, detailed flute patches with all the variations this might not be what you’re looking for.
