Fantastic! If you are looking for a piano use with BBCSO this absolutely the one. The core version offers a spacious wide sound and incredible design that sits perfectly with the standard BBCSO mix. However, it might not be suited to every environment with the single preconfigured mic option, so be aware of that. The pro version offers a lot with the mic positions to dial in the sound if you need some extra flexibility. I have dozens of piano libraries, but this has already become a go-to.

As a pianist I can say that I should listen to the PRO version first to evaluate. The Core version is not sufficient for my professional standards, but it can be used in particular contexts

I took the Core version and I'm fascinated by the beauty of the sound of this piano, so much so that now I'm using it for a chamber ensemble... I still have to discover all its potential but I can already say that I'm very happy with the purchase

Great Piano. Blends beautifully with BBC Symphony Orchestra. Excellent Product

As with all Spitfire software, this is an easy to use sample. Piano has a nice middle and subtle top end, but it could be better in the lower octaves. Even sounds like one or two of the strings need changing..... That said, this will still play a part in my recordings that feature orchestral compositions.

Having difficulty with this one . The velocity layers in the core version seem inconsistent. Top end is very loud and spiky middle register very quiet in comparison and the overall level seems very quiet compared to your other products. I understand this is designed to be part of the orchestral mix (not had chance to try it in the orchestra yet) but so far I'm not likely to actually use it as your other pianos sound better. dissapointed

As it is, it's fine. Maybe the only thing wrong with it is that it should have the ability to customise the dynamic line more precisely and not just with default templates. But what I find most problematic is the discount system for BBCSO Orchestra users. It should be a permanent discount or a bigger one. In general, in the use of the piano itself, it is fine. With sufficient dynamic range and works very well in conjunction with the orchestra. I would like to get the Pro version when I can as playing with the microphones will allow for more customisation of the sound.
