Works great and sounds amazing. I use it with Dorico and NotePerformer 4's NotePerformer Playback Engine, and everything is so amazing! Works great "right out of the box" and has so much potential with power-user tweaking!
The BBC Symphony Orchestra Pro is truly next level. The sound quality is simply amazing and the customization options are insane! If you’re looking for excellence, you just found it! Worth every penny!
They sound magnificent! And with lots of amazing articulations for all instruments... The only con: at almost 600GB, it took days to download! :( - But it eventually downloaded fine and was worth the wait... I have several other Spitfire libraries that I love; I'm sure I'll keep buying more!

The sound is incredible, I couldn't believe what I was hearing when I first tried the library. I highly recommend BBC Pro Orchestral if you are a film composer. You just get this library and you don't need anything else. You don't even need any reverbs because these different microphones give you all the rooms and halls you need for your instrument. Here is another outstanding work from Spitfire Audio!

It works flawlessly. Sounds even better that I had anticipated. I have other libraries, but use Spitfire almost exclusively.
Simply fantastic product. Been using BBC Symphony Orchestra for several releases over the years. Started with the Discover edition, then after a few years upgraded to Core, and last to the Professional edition. Never ceased to amaze me. Easy to use and the sound quality is nothing but stellar.
BBC Symphony Orchestra Professional is a remarkable plugin with high sonic fidelity, though the initial download process can be quite challenging. It took me three days and nights to complete, with frequent system crashes along the way. After the lengthy download, I encountered a few minor issues, which I’m addressing by upgrading my hardware to increase memory. Despite these hurdles, the plugin’s ease of use and navigation, along with its rich and nuanced orchestral sounds, make it a worthwhile investment. The enhanced quality and features justify the expense, and it has significantly expanded my musical capabilities compared to the basic versions.

The BBC Symphony Orchestra Pro I finally added this library to my orchestral template and I can't believe I've waited this long to get it, especially being a composer and relying a lot on creating professional orchestral mockups. This is the biggest improvement I have gotten for my studio this year and I cannot wait to utilize it more in my projects. I was especially blown away by the strings and horns. I mean truly, Spitfire Audio gets it right. From downloading, installing, and using the products, the whole experience is just delightful. It was also a pleasant surprise to find out that the sample engine is smart with memory use so if you're like me and prefer separating articulations on each track rather than using key switches, it won't suffocate your memory or CPU. Instead, it treats it as one instance with multiple articulations. As long as you make sure to enable only 1 articulation per track.
I have been waiting to get this product!!! Now I am in Orchestral heaven!
I've now had all 3 versions of this, and even the basic is beyond what you'll find in most DAWs. I upgraded this time because the price was right, and so was the timing of their sale!
