This VST was easy to setup and use and works as expected in standalone and DAW. I love the range of sounds available and the ease of the interface. It's ideal for creating unease or tension in filling spaces in my music.
Great Sounds and good for making a soundtrack more interesting. Sounds more complex in the demo though.
The stretch knob increases your possibilities to the next level on these. As far as I have explored, it shines on the mid-low end. Good purchase

Beautiful and versatile library. Sounds range from dark and looming, to warm or bittersweet, with very versatile controls and great expression. I immediately jumped in and started creating a pretty variable library of specific user presets. Only drawback is the Stretch (‘R LUV BOO’) control isn’t available for all the presets – but Slimzos da 3rd is now my new favourite Soft Piano(ish!) sound!

Really perfect
I own other similar VSTs/plugins such as NI Thrill, Mysteria, etc.and was at first hesitant with this purchase. However, after further examination, I was convinced how Darkstar stands on its own for high quality needs in this department of sonic expression.
