Amazing samples. Easy to download and use as well.
Amazing sounds and textures, it really is fantastic for adding another layer of color. Such smooth playing is hard to find or create.
good quality, very inspiring !
Amazing stuff, sounds so realistic
The distinctive sound reminds me of musical inspiration.
Another pristine quality library. Sits well in the mix. Sounds just perfect.
Sounds great but seems to have syncing issues
This library will add emotion and texture to your sound palette. Only one word can describe it, EPIC!
Nice to have and inspiring. Like everything still expandable.
A very niche product. Bought this on the Black Friday deal. With the freebie product that came with it and the discount, I'm satisfied.
One of my favorite libraries. The idea is perfect. The sound is just absolutely gorgeous and versatile. You can get a very Air Studios hall kind of sound but you can also get a very intimate and close mix. The simple reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I think it could have a bit more patches and articulations. Specially with the solo violin and cello. If we could have all the patches from the full sections in the solo violin and cello that would be the cherry on top of the cake. And also, although no one cares, I miss the Violas 🫢 But overall it's a beautiful and inspiring library that can be used to give life to almost every composition.
Over 30 years of music production and what a gift this is incredible collection of incredible signs fracture strings by Spitfire audio just a bomb!
so resl so helpful in film music
So far, I'm not sure how useful this one will be, but I do really like how it sounds.
Intimate and detailed string elements beautifully recorded and captured by Spitfire! It is a toolkit that supplements other string libraries and will add an extra touch of realism. I find that the addition of the scale mode and velocity- triggered intervals set this library apart from others. I get inspired immediately when working with these samples and find that it pairs perfectly with Spitfire's Ólafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions and Orchestral Swarm.
bog standard, feels like SpitfireLABS library with a pricetag
This library could have been so good. It sounds spectacular, but seems to be quite useless. Instead of giving inspiration I feel it stifles any creativity by being extremely limited in its use. The timed element does not work for me at all - I really miss a setting that allows a more rigid or more free cadence (like on drummer patches, where you can select more or less swing). This should be something that could be programmed, as the samples are timed. I really miss having sustains in this library also - these should have been recorded alongside the different lines, as this would have given the library some actual usability. I do not thing I will ever use this library for any project. I own a lot of SA libraries and have way more use for others like Chamber strings, Symphonic, the Tundra strings (Albion V) or the free Aperture strings - these libraries allow me to be creative and I always return to them when writing music. A pity! Hopefully an update on this library will see some changes.
This library was not what I hoped it would be. I thought there would be more experimental articulations, when I downloaded the software I was disappointed. Spitfire does not have a return policy for the library if you have downloaded the software. I'm not sure how anyone would know how the instrument would be beneficial in their work without downloading. I wish Spitfire would change this policy.
I love this library for the many possibilities it offers when composing for strings, especially for a small group
