Super cool library. Easy to write with and sounds great off the bat. Both the loops and standalone instruments have some depth.

brilliant palette covering upfront sounds to contrast the usual heavily hall reverbed percussion typical to orchestral libraries.

There’s something so satisfying about jumping straight into creating. Hammers is vast and I can’t wait to explore more, but it’s so easy to use and EPIC! Love it already.

A new standard in percussion libraries. Finally a set of toms that aren’t drowned in reverb!

Not my first percussion purchase, and probably not my last, but there's a huge amount of depth here - and a lot of brand new material! I particularly like the way that Spitfire Audio make it very clear if material is new or 'borrowed' from their other products, so you don't have that 'Just a moment - this is familiar' sinking feeling because you didn't read all the fine print. It was also made very clear that the snare was not supposed to be included, but was added as an extra - and as I expected, I was immediately saying: "More, please!" So I'm now expecting a subsequent 'Nails' release full of snares for those poor addicted people who have spent their lives trying to find the 'perfect' snare sound. I can already hear Christian Henson saying: "When we released Hammers, it included a snare as an extra. Well, the feedback to that snare has been overwhelming, so we've worked with Charlie Clouser again, and I'm pleased to announce our new release: Nails. More snares than you can shake a stick at!" or something like that... Now if I could just put a pre-order in for 'Nails', please...

Hammers is amazing. So much control over everything, rhythms, dynamics, reverb, mic options and cinematic character. It works with songs of any genre and adds impact to dialogue scenes bringing a mundane score to life. It is cutting edge percussion for a composer in this modern era.

I probably have way too many "other" percussion libraries, epic, cinematic, ethnic, orchestral ... and I find Hammers to be uniquely positioned, as it gives me great results straight away, rather than having to spend significant time "fitting into the library."

These are pretty amazing. The loops can quickly add strength to your compositions.
