You close your eyes and hit an Fm chord and just feel like you're in heaven. The sounds themselves are breathtakingly good. Strings All in one: is a good grab and play get going in 5 seconds multi-pass. Legato lines sounds great for high or low. Long Flautando just will blow your mind and raise the roof on possibility. long Viol: like painting with a brush with no feeling of worry. Brushed and short rounded and Chimes etc sound fantastic but i haven't used them yet to comment. Tubax is just very cool and growly and like having a Gimli to lob over the wall when your being attacked by orcs. Contrabass Clarinet I have yet to play with. I have to write a piece for it and see. Guitar stuff as I am a guitarist I haven't really messed with yet but it has 6 more articulations to experiment with for vibe. The Piano sounds perfect for late night off the cuff random playtime don't know where i am but its all ok type sounds. Tom Waits meets Amelie down a lane. I would say that that piano isn't as versatile as the Addictive keys plugin i have already but as it comes with the package i was quite surprised at how real it sounds. Most likely it is a taster of other piano libraries they do but it is like a bonus for the incredible strings anyway. for anyone who has used the Reason Radical piano it feels a little like that but you are in the same room with it. Maybe there is more to the piano than i have unlocked yet but I've been too busy writing things with it as is to mess with it. It is real sounding anyway which is the key. there is plenty of scope for composing with it all so for my ears I think its a great set of sounds for the price. As I said already in the service part of this review if one sound is exciting you can write a melody or a chord movement and add texture within seconds flat. That is quite refreshing coming from the having to tweak things for 10 minutes to get a sound and add reverb and eq. Inspiration is instant. So you want the flow to be uninterrupted and hassle free. With this you hit record and play. I find it way more realistic than the Logic Strings/Stringwerk in Reason. As with all of these things though the more you add dynamics and expression the more real it sounds. For my ears you actually hear a very tangible human feel to notes with even subtle changes. So apart from the fact that the logo looks like a kids drawing of a Jose Gonzales album i think it is great value and will be very useful to create more soundscapes. In fairnesss to Jose that album was great and iconic and the library has that intimate no over the top ,clear and small intimate feeling. Their plugin is just like a control panel on Bransons Spaceship 2 . Everything you need and nothing else. ( and a Tubax for when the Cylons attack and you need an odd unpredictable low sound that isn't a trombone) Ok i better go eat and writer that Contrabass Clarinet line in Db called The rain on the river in Istanbul.
