Perfectly to my needs to make unconventional chamber strings music. This library of sounds has catapulted my creativity in ways I never expected. The art of recording these talented musicians they way they have must be applauded. Well done Spitfire!! I’ll be back for Albion IV.
First class products and first class services
This is a great addition to existing string libraries, which adds some great extended techniques.
The different articulations made it easer for telling a very complex story, very interesting sounds for exploring new ideas, it is very fun to try new ways of crafting compositions with this library.
Pure awesomeness and great playability, wish there were legato patches. Its the only drawback, but this library does what it does brilliantly.

A fantastic tool. Useful and versatile to build unusual atmospheres. Like all Spitfire Audio libraries the sounds are of excellent quality. I immediately used LCO for a dramatic short film and it helped me build atmospheres otherwise impossible to achieve. I recommend it for use on scenes that need tension. It's not a sample library for every day but when it's the case it does really a good job. This library blends very well with the other Spitfire Audio strings libraries.

interesting textures for athmospheric and experimental teints, i took advantage of an interesting discount, and i am very satisfied with the product, which seems to have no fear of being twisted with effects and furthermore is begging you to do so. From rumbling to clean and intimate, very recommendable.
Such a vast amount of detail and articulations packeged into a simple and easy to use library. Can’t get enough of it, the sounds are incredible and very inspiring to work with!
Absolutely wonderful and modern sounds. I especially enjoy the dark and subtle articulations. Wonderful for cinematic work.

I am just enthusiastic about this library. A unique palette of strings sounds and unusual techniques that give you the possibility to write your music (it is not an aleatoric library but a collection of various innovative techniques made by LCO) I will use them with the Spitfire Studio Strings I have try to use them together and the sound is great! Very recommended
Fantastic sounds and techniques used with an excellent GUI.
A little disappointed not that the samples aren't useful just not right for me. I should have taken advantage of the discount on Symphonic Strings Evolutions.

Amazing product! Would have loved to have seen a legato patch included from such inspiring players but I understand sampling time limits exist. Nevertheless LCO strings is already in use on a new film I am scoring and going down a treat! Thanks to the time at Spitfire for creating such unique and innovative samples libraries!

Went with this and another library, instead of springing for an Albion. LCO blends immaculately with my other libraries, and works great as a standalone in many contexts. If you're into a more modern sound, this is your library...
This is a very inspirational product. I do believe the exploration of extended techniques is the present and future of string writing and this library does quite a bit of exploring. Favorite articulations include the sul pont bowing and all of the tremolo effects.
