Product details

Brand: Spitfire Audio

Soft Nylon Guitar, from Mike Georgiades, offers the beauty and warmth of an intimately recorded nylon string guitar, whilst replicating all the behaviours and nuances of a real guitar through detailed scripting and careful calibration. As its name suggests, the samples were performed with emphasis on the soft and delicate. "Rather than using a full-size classical guitar and its somewhat ‘formal’ tone, I sampled a small- bodied nylon guitar that I have used countless times on my TV production music and video game scores, which offers a very flexible voice in many styles, from traditional classical and folk to modern production genres. After some years in development, my mission has been to offer a guitar VST capable of delivering ground-breaking realism through an intuitive real-time playing experience."

Impeccable sounds, great implementation for key controllers. UI for sound adjustments are nicely designed, but somewhat impracticable partly due to menu diving - a snag I observed for many Spitfire products.

Great Instrument. Natural Sound. And even with special effects a good source of precise sounds.

Haven’t loaded it yet but from past experience was sure that I was buying something that would fit what I was looking for

Delicate tone.. realistic. A few more articulations would have been nice.

Sounds good but I really need a manual to understand how the keyboard works. I have a midi file that sounds great with another plugin and with this one, my notes are played on the same string in auto or free mode. I don't quite understand how it works, so that's why I need a detailed manual. Please take this into account.

Excellent sampled instrument library but does not respond to MIDI pitch bend data. NKS tagging needs to be fixed to be consistent with MG Soft Acoustic Guitar Library for use in Native Instruments Kontakt/Komplete Kontrol.

I bought this, like all my stuff, after listening to the walk through! I really like the way you use it which makes so much sense

I can't get logic pro X to recognise that I've downloaded this instrument so I've been unable to try it.

Can do making simply natural nylon guitar parts. It's match to cinematic music.

A bit expensive for it does, so 4/5

I like this Guitar sound so much! So natural, so warm, so virtuosic, so easy to play, so clear - it feels like I realy play a guitar and not a keyboard, sounds like a human is playing. I made a song where I combine Nylon Guitar with Fink Signature guitar - what a pleasure!! They both fit together so well!!
