So far I'm very happy using this VST for writing divisi string parts using SSO. I do wish the interface was updated to the UI of SSO.

Great product! Love the sound and selection of articulations is fine for my needs. Legato is very good and love the ability to customize mic positions. Only drawback is slow loading in my Kontakt player vs the Spitfire player that I use for other libraries.
I cannot get the thing to work right. The ensembles are not found and the fixes are hours of ridiculous troubleshooting!
Spitfire Chamber Strings are on the static and not very passionate side, but they give you what you want from a small strings orchestra, and with the right room added, they do add texture to an arrangement. They've done well for me small vocal and piano arrangements. I especially like the Celli sounds. Please note that if you use this with Kontakt 8, it might not show up for you UNLESS you go into Classic view, then Spitfire Chamber Strings will show up, and it will be worth the initial headache. This is where AI is your friend.
Excellent pluggin. I haven't use it yet but with your walk through i've noticed the "real sound of each preset
Unique level of detail. The best.
Finally got around purchasing this, and I do not regret. Chamber strings still sound amazing for more intimate string compositions.
Great and amazin sounds
The audio is amazing, but the delivery is super clunky. I didn't realize this library required Kontakt or might have purchased something else. Kontakt is a horrible interface not fitting this amazing library. I hope someday Spitfire can be its own app so that Kontakt is not needed anymore. It was very hard to install and not fun to use. Will not be purchasing any more Spitfire products that require it.
Excellent library. I love the natural and imperfect sound of older spitfire library’s.
The quality of the sound is incredible but the reliance on Kontakt interface and GUI has me a little bummed. It is not as inspiring as some other plugins I work with. I appreciate that I need to trust my ears while using it and am not dissuaded by flashy images, but a little modernization in the interface, or perhaps even having it able to work standalone, would bring my review to 5 stars!
This one is just ridicuously good, it has made the tracks we have used it on come alive in ways that make us very happy.

Spitfire Audio's software instruments are well-known for their exceptional quality. This version, although a more streamlined version of the professional version, still impresses with its impressive capabilities and sound quality. Kudos to Spitfire Audio for their remarkable contributions to the industry.
Been lookig for some small VST ensemble to combine it with live players for texture. :) Its a pure alchemy! Love it!
Great for instant ideas. Few articulations but enough for scoring quickly. It’s not possible cut the reverb tails, but this is a library just placed in a reverberated room.
I don't know. I have never successfully downloaded it. You got my money. I don't have your product yet.
I only tried it in one song, and so far it sounds great. Especially good are runs. Chamber Strings have very detailed sound. At some point I didn't want so much details, so I used low pass EQ. It blended in very well.
THE BEST STRINGS FROM SPITFIRE REALLY LOVE IT PERFECT except we can t control the reverb or i don t find where and how, the only negative point except this point, this is the best strings
