This brand is one of the best or the best around for sampled strings in regards to realism. As an engineer I truly appreciate the mic options especially!

Beautiful and useful. Just what I need for my music.
It feels very good to play as far as response goes. In addition, there's not really a need to nudge the midi too much to line up the tempo, so that makes things easier. I just really don't think the quality of the audio is worth the money I paid for this.
I haven't been able to use them in many projects as of yet, but i just love the sound. everything is well structured and intuitive to use. the scope of all the articulations is great!

Perfect library, easy to learn

I've been doing this since Logic was called Notator, used in an ATARI 1040, and along the way always felt I needed to flatter strings a little, mix different libraries or use a synth string sound on top, but Spitfire Studio Strings sit in the mix just right. No more compromising. Setting up articulation sets in the DAW was a breeze. Perfect for pop or classical projects. The upgrade path from standard to pro was a no brainer!
I like it. I would like to own the chamber strings but essentials is fine
If you are looking for budget alternative for Spitfire Chamber Strings, this library might be the best candidate. Comparing Studio Strings Core and Chamber Strings Essential, in my case Studio Strings won because of Legato Performance patch.
Fantastic string sound, choice of instrumental variations, ability to change or disable reverb, and the confidence of knowing yet another Spitfire library will produce a very musical result that is second to none.

I haven't explored this as much as I'd like to, but the variety of techniques and the sound quality are outstanding and really bring life and depth to my arrangements!
