Brand: Spitfire Audio

Achieve that awe-inspiring cinematic sound made famous in blockbuster scores such as Interstellar, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Tron. Presenting the Rugby School Chapel organ — a monstrous, 3,721-pipe, cathedral-sized organ housed in an intimate chapel — creating an epic but immediate sound like no other. To capture its unique depth, power and beauty, we teamed up with composer, producer and organ expert Andy Richards, who has curated stop combinations for instant playability, enabling you to get the best out of this beautifully-voiced instrument. His impressive discography includes work on huge film scores, including Slumdog Millionaire, and records by iconic artists from Grace Jones to George Michael. Every pitch has been recorded with multiple mic positions for ultimate realism and control, accompanied by 50 mind-bending warped presets presented in our eDNA engine.

The sound was not as good as i thought

Absolutely amazing sound and very easy to 'pick up and play'. I play church organs as a profession, and it's so nice to get an authentic pipe organ sound in a warm home studio. It's a shame Spitfire don't sell Baroque clothing to complement this instrument.

The sounds are great. However, I'm disappointed that ultimately, there are only 16 presets for such a grand organ. I felt that the promotional materials, although very good, weren't completely clear in this respect.

This is a great-sounding and easy-to-use instrument. I'm impressed with its configurability and operation. It's just what I was looking for, and I am glad to have found an online recommendation for it through Reddit.

I'm still learning to use it but so far I'm loving this organ. It has a very powerful but "regal" sound to it. I think with it's tone it could be easily fit in with something cinematic/hybrid "a la Zimmerman", but also would be great for any liturgical works involving choir and/or baroque instruments.

Superb instrument! This is the 1st one I've bought from Spitfire. Very easy to set up and use. And now I want to buy everything, from the piano to the orchestra !!!

missing the immersive sound.

Wonderful sounds - knocks out the free stuff totally, and a lot of the paid for stuff too. Watch the Spitfire video on it, and just listen to the sounds. When I bought it and got it set up through my cheapish audio interface and even cheaperish speaker system, I couldn't believe how good the sound was. Nor could my neighbours! Can't wait for my proper speakers to come. Although I may have to re-locate.....

All I can say is WOW. So much authentic character and so much control of the expression, dynamics, and positioning so it can fit perfectly into my scores. Goose bumps when you need them.

Great Sound! Very characteristic symphonic organ sound.

Brilliant! Superb sound quality, a lovely mix of settings and the warp settings are not only unusual, they are also very much usable. A really easy to use VST with the Kontakt based plugin. I love it and am letting myself be inspired by this beautiful instrument.

Very high quality and detailed sample of Rugby School Chapel Organ. Excellent for composition and for live use leading congregational singing in Church

Freakin sweet plugin that gives the exact sound I want for the spoopy season :)

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Only one star off for using Kontakt which is not as good as the Spitfire engine. Sounds great, fewer presets than I imagined, but what's there is brilliant and it saves a lot of time wasting building a sound that probably wouldn't be as good as the presets :) The warped sounds are a huge surprise and probably the thing that will get used more...which is a very pleasant surprise. As an organ, it's the sound I was looking for.

Wonderful-sounding organ. So easy to use and with a good, versatile range of organ modes to select from. A gorgeous addition to my production arsenal!
