Incredible and versatile sounds!
It's far too limited. To an average media composer I imagine this library sufficiently accomplishes any task at hand. For me, as someone who has taken organ lessons, I am disappointed. I acknowledge how difficult it must be to sample an organ, but the "swell" patches hardly feel like swells at all. A small minority of patches come with the swell feature, while all others are static. My leading reason for acquiring this library was so I could achieve an effect like swelling the pedal to tutti on a real organ. This library hardly resembles that. At the end of the day, I always applaud Spitfire for the hard work they put into their libraries. This one isn't what I expected, and simply isn't for me.

This library will keep you looking to the heavens! Powerful enough to paste you to the wall with all stops out, yet gentle enough to substitute flutes in a symphonic context. It brings the color! A must have...
Great sounding organ! Big low registers and full sound throughout.
If you have a decent sub or some good monitors your neighbours will think you've opened up a church next door. Pulling out all the stops is such an epic sound.

Symphonic Organ is a good library. Yes it sounds big. If you’re a composer, not necessarily an organist, and want that Interstellar sound in the back of your orchestra, I think Symphonic Organ will do the job. The thing is… I’m a composer, but an organist too. I think the big lack of this library is you can’t have the sound of each individual stop (you have each individual stop with Chapel Organ, however it does not scale to that big sound of Symphonic Organ). With Symphonic Organ, you’re forced to use presets, which for me is a big barrier to compose for the organ. However, I’m aware that many composers out there don’t want to spent time choosing each individual stop, and rather want a ready to play big full sound (softer presets also sound good by the way). What about the price? Well I’d say during a sale it’s worth it. Personally, I’d prefer to use other more specialized library like Hauptwerk to compose precisely for organ. The thing is this library is really not affordable, and that’s the reason why I chose Spitfire Symphonic Organ. You get something not complete in the sense that you don't get the organ but preset sounds of it, BUT for a reasonable price. To sum up, I don’t think this library is suitable for organ-only compositions, but for that organ sound in a cinematic trailer, that will do it.

Bought the Symphonic Organ VST for Kontakt and it honestly has to be one of the best sampled instruments that i've come in to, with a good sound system to fully bring out all the the recorded frequencies (of which there are lots), you're able to reduce anyone to tears by just playing the instrument out of the box. Finally! a proper way to play Liszt's Piano sonata in B minor.

This product is so rich! From deep 14Hz sub-bass to piercing high frequencies, it has them all. I wish I could mix the stops individually like on a real organ, but the many preset Spitfire Audio made are exquisite and greatly diverse! The synth and pads that are included are a great bonus. Truly is one of my favourite instrument! I could listen to it all day!
Good pipe organ libraries are hard to come by I've found. But this is definitely among the very best. You may not be able to get all the stop combos you want, but on the upside is the lean UI and user-friendliness. And the curated presets are truly superb. Most importantly, this pipe organ sounds truly magnificent and is able to deliver subtle subsonic textural richness (such as used by Saint-Saens in his famous 3rd symphony), to an all-stops huge cathedral-shaking sound. The choice and placement of mics has worked a treat in delivering 'that' cathedral reverberation without the mush. It is articulate and harmonically rich across the dynamic range. Download size is not too onerous: another plus. I highly recommend this!
