Review
On the whole we have found Sports Experiences to be very good when organising the Paris Netball Tour. We are about to book our 3rd Tour with them and our numbers are increasing. The tour company seem to reflect on feedback and adapt in changing situations. The transfers, crossing, drivers and coaches have always been great, though on our last trip our driver did get lost between venues and we ended up navigating which wasn't ideal.
We have enjoyed staying at the Hotel Cheyenne in all of our stays and find this is very effective for taking such a large tour group who are consistently in different places as this is much more efftective time for the girls and staff and good for changeovers and to ensure that all girls are eating a balanced breakfast. We hope this will continue this year.
The tournament is well organised and the girls get a good amount of netball at the right level. The consistency of the umpiring wasn't as high as we had hoped last time and we did give feedback about this. The coaching session is good, though does need mixing up as it has been the same each time and if you have been before girls aren't as motivated. A bit more tactics and strategies rather than basic skills would be better here. The professional photos are a nice touch and look good.
The 2 awards nights we have been to have been very different. As we are such a large group all being at the same time would be ideal for staffing and so we can enjoy the evening together. The meal is basic and a few more veg would be beneficial and last year there was no pudding which when with kids would have been good - we ended up taking them to Macdonalds as the girls were still hungry. We asked for some extra bread and were declined.
