Today myself and my husband went to Sporting Targets to do clay pigeon shooting, air rifles and archery. I had this as a gift for my 40th and we had the best day! We had Vince as our instructor who was just the best! He had all of the time in the world for us! He was so calm, patient and knowledgeable! We were successful at shooting the clays, air rifle targets and archery. We had such great guidance from Vince and we believe this is why we were successful! Thank you! My husband and I had so much fun with some healthy competition. We are already planning a trip back with friends and our children. I would highly recommend this place for a bucket list experience that you will return to! Great instruction, facilities, fun, setup and a massive site with lots of different clay areas to shoot from. Complimentary tea and coffee in a lovely open lounge and a big thumbs up for the sausage and egg sandwich to finish the day! Thank you Vince.

Booked the Archery, air rifle and clay pigeon experience through Red Letter Days. Sporting targets did not disappoint! Lovely setting and a warm welcome. Attended last Monday, it wasn’t busy so was perfect for us, nice and relaxed. We had Vince as our instructor, couldn’t have asked for a more patient and knowledgeable instructor. Our first time doing these activities and we managed to hit the targets multiple times, we put this down to the instructor rather than our natural abilities! Will definitely be going back for more and will recommend to family and friends.

My wife had always said she would like to try Clay Pigeon Shooting so booked an experience though red letter days for air riffle, archery and clay pigeon shooting. A birthday treat, when you get to a certain age presents are difficult to find.

We were introduced to Vince, our instructor a very friendly, helpful gentleman.

Despite the weather being damp we had a fantastic time.

Vince was very relaxed and helpful which really added to the experience.

Overall would highly recommend and will be be revisiting next year.

We had an amazing 1 hour of instruction from our excellent instructor, Vince. He was so thorough and courteous - always encouraging and advising. My 13 yr old daughter had an unforgettable experience too! Thank you so much for a great birthday introduction to Clay Shooting. The reception staff were very polite and helpful too! Great venue, lots of variety and excellent 1to1 guidance. Top day out!

Amazing 1 Hour beginners clay pigeon session for my son and I. Our instructor Rob was an EXCELLENT teacher...very sensitive to my son's first-time anxiety and truly made the experience a top tier day out!!! The site is gorgeous...great staff....a BRILLIANT place.

We went today for the first ever experience. What a fantastic venue this is ,. The staff were excellent very helpful , friendly and made you feel instantly relaxed and welcome.
Our instructor John was really marvellous he made every effort to involve all our party. He made sure we were all comfortable in the activity we were doing.
Although obviously knowledgeable in shooting he at no time spoke to us as novices he pitched the experience so we all had a very enjoyable time.
We would thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone thinking of taking part.

My daughters and I have just returned home after an incredibly enjoyable afternoon trying out archery, air rifle shooting and clay pigeon shooting. We had a wonderful guide/instructor for the day called Rob who made us all feel like winners! His instruction was great, meaning each one of us managed to hit the centre in archery, do well in the shooting paper targets and even manage to hit some clay pigeons! Highly recommend. I bought a Browning shotgun from Sporting targets last week, and it arrived within 48 hours, just as described. The price was right, the gun was right, and the customer service was second to none. Tom contacted me several times, and at every stage in the transaction kept me and my RFD fully informed.

It was fantastic, every member of staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful and it was an amazing experience. We had Vince as our instructor who was lovely, very friendly and very kind about how poor we were! Really recommend for a great day out and it was so different to anything we've done before! I visited the shooting experience with my company. We set off in two groups on a well organised morning of Clay, Rifle shooting and Archery. Vince lead our group who made the experience fun along with lots of knowledge as we were all novices. We then had food after the experience which was also lovely and exactly as ordered. I would throughly recommend this experience

I just wanted to say Mike our instructor was absolutely amazing and really made the day for all of us. He was so friendly and knowledgeable he put us all at ease and by the end of the two hours we were all getting on like good friends.

The group had a wide range of abilities from never shooting before to intermediate and he made sure we all got a great experience.

His direction and tips were second to none, really helping us all to raise our game at a fun and comfortable pace.

The facilities and equipment were very good but as I say Mike was the stand out part of the experience, that guy needs a raise because whatever he is being paid is not enough. He represents your company so well and is the main reason I would choose you again over another facility.

A truly great guy and when I come back I will be asking for Mike again that is for sure ;)

We attended a Team Building day at Sporting Targets.
From correspondence to the day we attended Angela and John were really helpful and accomodating.
On the day, all the guys that supervised us were so lovely, they taught us how to use all the equipment, put us at ease as it was most of the teams first experience, it was a lot of fun. The team had a great day, thank you we can't wait to return.

Another brilliant competition at Sporting Targets with loads of challenging and unusual targets. I particularly loved the super fast, super close rabbits which I've never seen anywhere else - Hard but fun!

Looking forward to the High Tower challenge now.
