Fantastic gift idea
Fantastic gift idea. Purchased the spot at Hampden where Sir David Gray ended 114 years of misery. Fine, it technically only lasts a year, but I have the physical certificate which will hang in my son's bedroom for evermore. Love it.

Avoid this scam
This is just fleecing gullible fans. Very disappointing that the SFA and a handful of clubs have fallen for it.
Better to spend £30 on merchandise and get something real, or if you are happy to get nothing in return give it to a charity.

Terrible, exploitative product - buy something else
This product is designed purely to play on people's loyalty to their football club. Despite saying this allows you to own a virtual piece of the pitch, you essentially rent a random pixel for an exorbitant fee which gets taken off you after a period of time - this doesn't sound much like 'ownership.' The amount which goes to the club's charity is negligible. Someone is making a mint off of this at the expense of people wanting to support their team. Avoid.

Something new and on display
I got myself a certificate for Hampden Park. It was simple to purchase, I got one in the dead centre. It actually came with a nice welcome letter and Scottish National Football team colours. I got an email with my certificate instantly and in post it arrived with authentication stickers and a nice black frame. It sits in my office and a great back drop for Zoom calls and conversations. I hope Scotland qualifies and we can support the team further.

Money for nothing (almost)
This is a scheme based on your loyalty to your club. I would advise any Celtic supporter not to buy it. If you want to support Celtic-related charities, it's better to give money directly to the Celtic Foundation or the Kano Foundation. I would ask any shareholder at the AGM to please raise a question as to why they have introduced such a lousy deal of a scheme. I'd give it no stars if I could.

Sportli’s Virtual Pitch initiative is designed to give fans a unique opportunity to feel more connected to their club by owning a symbolic piece of its legacy while directly contributing to the team's development. A significant number of fans do see value in our product and have indeed purchased it.
We fully support all efforts to fundraise for organizations like the Celtic Foundation and Kano Foundation, as they do incredible work in the community. However, Sportli complements these efforts by providing a different way for fans to engage with the club. Every certificate purchased contributes directly back to the team and the foundation, all be it in a small way (which is transparent and was agreed in writing with the Foundation, prior to launch).. There appear to be a number of Celtic themed merchandise outlets on social media who, as far as we are aware, do not contribute a single penny to the foundation. Sportli is not one of those. Additionally, the AGM board would confirm the significant five figure value of our 3 year license agreement with CFC.
We value all opinions and are always working to improve, and thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We have taken these onboard and are working to release an improved offering with Sportli+ in 2025.
Stay well away from this scam
Don't go near this if you're looking for a football related gift for someone, you are handing over money for essentially nothing and clubs should never get involved with this.
The first few reviews are obviously a set up, odd that they have responded to them but not the growing number of one star reviews. If there was an option for zero stars I'd be giving that.

A shameful day in the history of Celtic FC.
i'm absolutely disgusted that my club would somehow consider it ethical to sell something that does not exist.
The fact they have chosen to do so at this time of year when people are likely looking for unique gifts to buy for friends and family and perhaps won't realise they are actually spending their hard earned on NOTHING saddens me especially when our club history is steeped in charitable roots.
£29 to a club already so filthy rich the chairman awarded himself a pay rise from 40k upto £120k in a time of austerity for many supporters and only £1 to the Celtic Foundation smack of shameful greed.
Shame on you Celtic and the charlatans in the boardroom who came up with the total scam.

Absolute scam preying on people looking for a themed gift for a family member. The £1 donation for the club's chosen charity is a disgrace.

Rip-off (and the 5-star reviews are fake)
This is a rip-off. All you get is a certificate saying you have temporary "virtual ownership" of a bit of grass. £30 for a year or £50 for three years. It is worthless.
This is a horrible idea to take advantage of naive people. It is disgusting that football clubs have agreed to promote this nonsense. I'm amazed this is legal.
Those 5-star "reviews" are obviously from Sportli employees or their friends.
EDIT: They are now trying to have their 1-star reviews hidden by complaining they are "defamatory". You can't claim defamation if something is true (Google "veritas Scots Law"). I read all the 1-star reviews and none of them have told a single lie.

Money for nothing.
These crooks charge fans £29.99 to “virtually rent” a piece of the pitch of their football club for a year. For your £29.99 you receive a certificate and the clubs charity partner receives the grand sum of £1. Football fans are already fleeced for tickets and merch. Don’t fall for this nonsense. Make a donation to the charity partner this Christmas instead.

This is nothing like a company sponsoring a player. The club benefits from the sponsorship of a player. It allows the club to support the player and their needs whilst at the club. This venture simply lines the pockets of already wealthy men. My club don’t benefit and the benefits to the charity partner is negligible. The costs involved in the snake oil you’re peddling do not justify the price. And the continued use of the word “ownership” is disingenuous as the most the fan will ever own is a certificate.
