Fuse FM Website Redevelopment
Manchester Media Group have been working happily with Spotlight Studios for years, but they were particularly helpful this year when Fuse FM, our radio station, went through a rebrand. Pete was patient and attentive to all of our requests and transformed our website from one that had slowly fallen out of use to a modern, sleek one that we love and truly reflects our new direction as a radio station.

Took 9 months and still not completed website
Agreed with Ashley to create our website on 25.4.2023, They asked for £1200 up front, still today the website is not completed 27.01 2024. The whole experience has been atrocious, we were suppose to launch our new business Sept 2023 but due to delays from Spotlight Studios could not launch, they take 3-4 days to answer emails also never answer calls always have to book a ticket. Don't abide by there own contract. I have had an independent expert investigate the website and it was a template website and we don't have full autonomy of website either. which means we have to keep going back to them to add anything. They have really caused a lot delays which has caused issues and they have a no refund policy. Taking them to court as the work is not up to standard.

Good afternoon, and thank you for the review; we greatly appreciate your feedback. To provide a detailed response, our team has thoroughly reviewed all the correspondence you have had with us. While we can acknowledge that the project began some time ago and has extended longer than any of us would have preferred, your comments do not accurately reflect the true timeline. A full account can be requested but we've included a brief summary below.
1. Agreement signed 25/04/2023, 50% deposit fully paid on 17/07/2023.
2. Logo approved in July '23 and website design approved August '23, but a lot of content was still outstanding.
3. By September, we had completed all the development work for your website. However, important aspects relating to your company's setup, including Legal Name, Company Number, Address, Phone Number, Domain, Emails, Social Profiles, T&C's and CRM, remained incomplete. I'm not entirely sure how you would have expected your website to launch at this stage or why you hold us accountable for the situation?
4. In October, your chosen company name was already in use. As a result, we had to review your branding for a second time after you selected a new company name.
5. “[YOUR_COMPANY_NAME]” finally incorporated on the 8th November 2023 (this is public record).
6. In November, we reworked your logo at no extra cost, conducted our second 1-2-1 training session for the website, but content was still outstanding.
7. In December, you handed over the project to a team member, and on Saturday, December 23rd, we received a new to-do list that also included a request to completely overhaul the already approved logo.
8. In January, we conducted a two-hour 1-2-1 session to prepare your website for launch, with the understanding that it would go live on the same day once you provided the outstanding content (which is still pending).
9. Unfortunately, your decision not settle the final bill, along with your contention that we are responsible for the timeframes (which is wholly disputed), has regrettably led to our current situation.
With all that said starting a new business can indeed be challenging, and we understand the frustration it can entail. We respond to emails as quickly and efficiently as possible but often require all outstanding content to be provided before we block out additional time on a project. We will answer all phone calls where possible and when our team is busy you're able to leave us a message. Our records show that throughout 2023 we received 12 incoming phone calls from you of which we answered 11. Set appointments can also be scheduled with our team from as little as 4 working hours notice. Regarding your 'independent expert's' claim, I want to clarify that we don't use templates but rather a framework, the same one used for the majority of our websites, including our own. We remain willing to address your concerns and continue working towards a resolution. As a reminder of our last conversation, your website is complete, pending the outstanding content we're still waiting on, and ready to go live upon you paying the remaining balance. We look forward to a further discussion and hopefully a resolution.

A Company That Delivers 100%
We approached Spotlight Studios to rebuild our company website and assist with the integration of the Learning Management System and eCommerce Gateway. From the outset, the team at Spotlight Studios have been nothing short of awesome. The speedy responses to any queries, requests and additional requirements is first class. Their ability to deliver what was asked for, with a few recommended tweaks that come from experience has resulted in a superb, fit for purpose website. Pete at Spotlight helped me develop a beautiful and functional website for my business at the start of this year. I was really impressed with the work they did, the speed at which they worked and the final product!
The website included a lot of options that I needed for my training company, including the ability to book in for events and pay directly online.
