SASE Training

Although I found the information interesting I could have gotten the same information from a Cisco Sales Rep. I was hoping for a class that provided a broad overview of SASE and the features and functionality that I should expect, it felt very Cisco centric, I know that there are other competitors for SASE and a more generic presentation would have been appreciated. The instructor was knowledgeable but it didn't seem that he had a feel for the group he was presenting to,

Effective Communication for WorkPlace Feedback

After reading the one-star review, I am very greatful that that was not the experience that I had. Even though I have my bachelor's in communication, I still took notes in this class. I love that the speaker used my career to form examples and discovered and pointed out what I need to improve on. This class has also motivated me to keep working on my communication skills. While my degree is over, that does not mean I need to stop learning or refreshing myself on communication skills, especially when starting a new career. However, I did four stars, because like me, there is always room for improvement.

PMP Training

Overall, the training was good. The trainer was interactive and used real-life examples, which helped with understanding. I also appreciated the flexible training hours, which made it easier to join the sessions. However, I have a few suggestions to improve the course.

First, on the first day, there were problems with the internet connection. The trainer, who was in India, had a bad connection, and we lost almost three hours before switching to a different platform. The class was supposed to be on Microsoft Teams, but we used Zoom instead, which was not expected.

Second, the agenda was too long and made it hard to absorb all the content. Also, sometimes the trainer just repeated the slides without giving more explanation.

To sum up, the training was helpful, but I think these issues should be improved to give a better learning experience.

The class was very interesting and…

The class was very interesting and insightful. The trainer was interactive and used live examples for better understanding. However, the training on the Lean six sigma GB didn’t cover the entire curriculum that was shared as some topics were omitted. Also, the training seemed too basic. I was promised to be trained on minitab as well but that was not done.

Overall, the administrative service of this company is poor. They are quick to engage you before payment but once payment is done, the service delivery drops. I am still yet to get pdf files materials and instructions on the mock tests and certification examination

Review of the Awful Online Course Experience

I would like to share several observations about this online course:

Instructor: The teacher demonstrated good knowledge of the subject and was willing to help. However, the frequent interruptions during the sessions were quite distracting.

Schedule and Duration: Although the course was scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the instructor typically finished by noon each day.

Course Content and Pace: The agenda was very extensive, but considering the interruptions and the fact that only about three hours of actual teaching occurred daily, it was difficult to absorb the material. The pace was quite fast, prioritizing covering the entire syllabus over ensuring thorough understanding.

Exam Issues: Despite paying for both the course and the exam, I had to be refunded for the exam fee because it was not clearly communicated that only ISACA members are eligible to take the exam.

Customer Service: The company was very persistent in collecting payment and did not respect my request to wait until my employer arranged the payment. After the course, however, it became extremely difficult to get in touch with them, and their responses were often full of excuses.

Personal Conclusion
Based on this experience, I do not plan to take any future courses with this company.

The online Power BI Certification Training

The online, live trainer was difficult to understand and steps in the lab materials was not aligned to the data provided to work with nor the version of Power BI that I was using did not match to the screenshots and instructions. The instructor was having difficulty helping me 'find' how to do some steps in the lab. There was no prerequisite given that I would need SSMS to download AdventureWorks database prior to the training; therefore, that lab was not able to be completed. I did learn a few things from the online training but what was actually covered did not need to be a 3-day training. I have not started the self-paced modules to give feedback on those at this time.

I appreciated the flexibility in training hours, days, and overall scheduling. The content was well-organized, and the presentation quality was commendable. The trainer demonstrated a positive and professional attitude throughout.

Overall, the SIX SIGMA GB and BB course felt quite high-level and general. It may not be ideally suited for participants with extensive experience, as it lacked advanced business analysis methods, tools. In hindsight, the content may have been too basic for my background, which could have influenced my overall impression of the course.

The lecturer is highly knowledgeable and engaging in her teaching of the core principles, roles, and functions of the Six Sigma Black Belt certification. She provides essential information needed to become certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt professional, using relatable scenarios to illustrate each function and formula. Additionally, she has created excellent visual aids, including boards and tables, to enhance the learning experience.

TOGAF Training

I received the presentation slides the 3rd day of the class. It impacted my ability to fully grasp the material during the class.

Lots of information. Some very vague or high level. It might be useful to help students understand how the information presented fit in the phases of the ADM and how all the information interconnect.

I signed up for an Excel Training…

I signed up for an Excel Training Course. Sara Gohar is a good instructor and I did learn a lot from her. I did experience some trouble understanding what she was saying from time to time and needed her to repeat what she was saying. On the first day of classes, I was given incorrect information regarding the start time and was 1 hour late starting my class. Sara was able to include all of the course topics that day. If you are in the USA, the time difference is hard to accommodate. Overall I had a good experience.

Good Structure, But Lacking in Advanced Material and Interactivity

I appreciated the flexibility in training hours, days, and overall scheduling. The content was well-organized, and the presentation quality was commendable. The trainer demonstrated a positive and professional attitude throughout.

However, I found the learning experience somewhat isolating, as there was minimal interaction or knowledge sharing with other participants. No advanced materials or real-world use cases were provided beyond the basic CBAP content, which would have added more depth and practical value to the training. Additionally, the trainer did not use the camera or incorporate interactive tools like Miro, which could have significantly enhanced engagement.

Overall, the CBAP course felt quite high-level and general. It may not be ideally suited for participants with extensive experience, as it lacked advanced business analysis methods, tools, and scenario-based training. In hindsight, the content may have been too basic for my background, which could have influenced my overall impression of the course.

Final thoughts are 5 stars!

A slight hiccup to start as the instructor had a bit more of an accent than I could keep up with, BUT Sprintzeal was super quick to reschedule me with Donald Brown! Amazing guy and incredible teacher! I completed my CAPM with him and will be requesting him for my PMP course as well!

Mixed Experience regarding SprintZeal

The instructor was knowledgeable on the course material. But, I had some rather unpleasant experiences on the administration side (not just once, but multiple times from the moment I registered to commence a course), which didn't give me a positive experience regarding this organisation. Was also unclear from the start and finish of the course, as to whether I would get access to the course material, once the training finished. However, I realise, there is access to good online content through my SprintZeal account (hopefully they keep my account). Some improvement needed overall in this organisation, especially on the communications side.
