FireAngel ST-622 - Does Not Last

I have the FireAngel ST-622 with a battery date of Nov 2028. For the last year the alarm has been giving off intermittent bleeps; you reset it and sometimes it is ok for weeks, other times days. Tried to contact the company and no response. Have even tried FireAngel Safety Technology as I think they are a reincarnation of the original firm; no response

TERRIBLE!

TERRIBLE!

terrible service, moved into a new house and the smoke alarm beeping, i called fire angel and was informed by a very, very rude agent that it was not transferrable as i was not the original purchaser! the expiry is 2030, so in fact they are not guaranteed for 10 years. only 6!

I see others have the same issue. Asking for a receipt is an excuse not to replace the product. The label on the back of the unite clearly states the expiration date , batch number.
the agent was extremely unhelpful and no people skills whatsoever. AVOID!

Problem with CO alarm

Problem with CO alarm , so wasted time exchanging details with (brand name) First Alert .Their tel no on back of unit obsolete , so had to use internet website etc . Some suggestions from them when I called were as I'd already tried - to no avail .
Finally called SPRUE to see about what to do , as found their tel no .tucked away , almost hidden in original info sheet supplied with unit .
Excellent lady called MARGARET was patient , professional and personable - agreed with me , arranged replacement which arrived as promised . It's installed now .
Margaret gets 5* --- This review loses 2* 'cos of info hidden in instructions and time it took for 'phone to be answered , had to listen to recorded "sorry for delay message" then ringing tone for quite a while .
Sorted now , thanks to MARGARET .

Finally solved

Ridiculous company. 3 faulty alarms. Had to mail, phone in 3 countries including UK to find someone who told me he would finally send replacements, after 6 weeks. So far, nothing from the post office.
Incompetence ? Dishonesty ? Both ?

UPDATE
Thanks to Wouter Puijk
Technical Sales Manager (Benelux) all solved and finally received replacements

I posted off a faulty smoke alarm in…

I posted off a faulty smoke alarm in November 2018, including a covering letter explaining the fault and my contact details, today 7/1/2019 i telephoned them as had not heard from them, after waiting for the phone to be answered for 15 mins i spoke to a very unhelpful female who told me that unless i had cleared it with them prior to sending off the faulty alarm and recieved a repair code then my faulty alarm would not be processed !!! So despite them having my full contact details no one bothered to contact me to tell me this so i have been waiting all this time for my problem to be resolved until i telephoned to enquire what the delay was today, she was becomjng increasi gly annoyed with me as i was asking why i was just left with in limbo, she then hurridly told me a new one would be in the post next few days and put the phone down ! Not good customer service.

Charming company with great customer service attitude.

I had a faulty smoke and CO alarm purchased from johnlewis.com, which stopped working after 5+ years.
I lost the receipt also JohnLewis stopped selling the same product (FirstAlert) so JohnLewis couldn't really help by replacing the product.
When contacted Sprue.com via phone & email, their customer service professional were more than helpful and they replaced the product for free with a brand new item of the same make (so it could go to the same bracket on the ceiling. Many thanks
