Keep your expectations low
I bought the Edge model. It’s a basic machine with a remote to start and stop the ball feed and oscillator. The Edge did improve my hitting but did not duplicate an opponent’s striking or ball delivery. The controls are very poorly calibrated for speed and spin.this means you will spend extra time messing with it. Dialing up past 60% creates an unhittable ball, that will not stay on the court, or has unhuman topspin. But it does offer oscillating balls for a great workout. Maintenance on the Silent Partners is not pretty. The designers clearly do not consider this. This is a big deal. In the first year I had to send it back to Buffalo for repairs! I’m in my third year and my extra-duty battery needs replacement. What I had to do to replace the battery was nothing short of rediculous! Again no design thought as to the future maintenance. I love having a ball machine, just not a Silent Partner brand.
