worst mobile company i have ever dealt with.
Bought a 30day rolling contract. Other well known companies start the 30days when you activate sim. Not Spusu, they tie you into another month by stating that they will charge you pro rata 'till end of month then credit your next bill. h'mm not so 30day rolling. The reviewer who mention this was a Trotter style company is quite correct. I have, sorry had two esims one of which i simply ported to a much better company so that sorted that. The other I contacted customer services about ending the contract at the end of 30days - no response. I contacted them again and again to no avail. Finally I sent an email stating I wanted to end contract at end of month - I had a reply one day before end of month to say "sorry for late reply" (yeah, sure) contract will terminate end of month - so when they gain from 22days of no line use but fully paid then they respond. Have received a "credit note" from them but they have ignored my request for this to be returned to the account of origin. Would not ever recommend this cowboy set-up when there are so many other great mobile providers available like Lebara, GiffGaff, Smarty...
edit - i deleted this review to give Spusu a chance as maybe I was a bit annoyed at their service or lack thereof - but nope, no refund, no communication, zero customer service - avoid like the plague
Call answered quickly, very helpful agent, instructions were clear and issue resolved within 10 minutes. Very refreshing not to be sitting in a Customer Service queue!

Have a number of sims with SPUSU and i find their service to be excellent. I've called their service team a few times since I've been a customer and they always answer promptly and are very helpful.
Highly recommended.

Deals are good but once you activate the SIM. Issue after issues.
First calls are being missed just a voicemail notification.
Call quality very poor, Lots of complains since moving.but on the same phone using a Vodafone no issues reported.
Coverage by EE but network is so poor, Data connection is slow and no data shows up in places.
Better to look elsewhere if quality of service is important,

Switched from EE as uses the same network and much cheaper but now regret that move. After 3 weeks I am moving elsewhere. I was unable to phone anyone unless they had previously phoned me and texts were not delivered.
Couldn't phone the help line as my phone wouldn't ring out. Emailed them and had no response.
My phone basically became useless and spusu didn't want to know.

Ridiculously good value, I moved from paying £10-15 a month with Voxi to paying £7.50 a month for 30gb data and unlimited data and texts. Runs on EE network.

The transfer to SPUSU was so easy I can’t believe I was so nervous about moving.
Having been with the same provider for over 30 years I took the plunge. Julian was great and helped make the process a doddle.
Thanks.

I had an issue with my eSIM suddenly not working. However I called the Spusu helpline which was answered this morning after a couple of rings. Julien was polite and helpful and resolved my issue quickly, getting my number working again within minutes. Thank you!

We moved from EE to Spusu and could not be happier. Esim set up worked great on Iphone 15 and Pixel 10. Very fast data speeds and otherwise reliable service at unbeatable prices. Outside the EU, the data roaming prices are great. Wish I had changed a long time ago...

Very poor signal quality – not fit for purpose in the UK
I regret ever going with spusu. I’m based in England and use their eSIM, and the signal strength has been consistently awful. Calls drop out regularly, cutting off conversations without warning, making it impossible to rely on the service.
This isn’t a one‑off issue — it happens repeatedly and has made basic communication frustrating and stressful. For a mobile provider, reliable call quality should be the bare minimum, and spusu fails badly on that front.
I would not recommend spusu to anyone in the UK considering an eSIM. Extremely disappointing.

Called for help becoming a new customer - no waiting, call handled quickly and efficiently, excellent customer service.

Just got back from Thailand and Malaysia. Data roaming was £4 per gb. My total bill for 2 weeks was £2.20. Ok this was just email WhatsApp and mapping and no streaming. Considered an e sim but it turned out much cheaper just to turn on Spusu data roaming.

I think I conducted due diligence when I considered moving provider. I phoned spusu and that was good. A human answered quickly and provided the information.
I asked if they provided exactly what I had already, although not with the so called freebies. I made sure all frequencies were supplied. I was assured I would get the same service, so I joined and ported my number.
My number for calls ported correctly. But texts remained on the number provided when I first joined. This took 3 calls, 3 days and a supply of a new SIM. All seemed good.
Now a problem. I have found that if I am on a call, mobile internet stops. I have cleared my settings as requested and my line refreshed. To no avail. I have been told they support calls using VoLTE. My phone is not on their list, yet VoLTE is supported on my phone by default.
I have been told to find a new supplier!
It is only fair to give an update.
The actions of spusu had resulted in increasing the star rating.
My comments were passed onto another team at spusu and I received a text. The puzzle was that although my phone was not in their list, it does support VoLTE by default. It was suggested to look in a particular place in settings. There, one was set to 'internet' which spusu wanted set to 'spusu'. This I did and success.
It would seem that the setting spusu automatically assume or supply did not change the settings. Regarding the comment by spusu, the phone is fairly mainstream and not old.
But now a happy customer and will be transferring another phone to their service halving my cost.

Anyone that gets to experience the customer services people at spusu will instantly appreciate the positive difference between them and the main suppliers. I’ve had to go to O2 due to phone reception in my house, but we’re moving this year and I’ll go straight back to spusu as soon as I’ve moved. Spusu = 10 / O2 = zero.
